Disliked: The open, luke warm showers and toilets weren't for us. Might have been ok in August, but too cold to shower in a dark, drafty, open construction. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Really did not like the 'renewable energy' policy of switching the (6 amp) electricity off every night between 11.30pm and 6.30am whilst still charging £27 per night. You can pay a few more pounds a night and have luxury (or at least 24hr electricity). It is probably great for basic tented campers, but it wasn't for us. This is not a good advocate for the use of renewable energy, in fact it emphasises the negatives. We were glad to move on after 3 cold nights.

Liked: Peaceful location.
Disliked: An attempt at being eco friendly by not having electric overnight but no recycling options. All waste ends up in one bin. The toilets and showers are single cubicles with intentional gaps at the top and bottom of the doors meaning you’re cold 🥶. Self check in was a joke with two parties allocated to one pitch. Checkout at 10.30. Feels like this site wants maximum payment for minimum effort.

Powered grass and gravel campervan campsite
Liked: Very little
Disliked: Poorly maintained site. No hot water at our pot wash site. On arrival we were located a spot requiring a very long electric hook up. Showers were hot but you could not clean them between uses. Some leisure equipment broken on arrival. With a non attended check in there was very little info on the surrounding areas. We believe we were incorrectly located as a motor home. Gravel base barely as wide as vehicle. Waste bins not emptied after the weekend by Wednesday. Not enough bins to cope with the waste provided. Regarding the electricity the site charges as much as others locally with 24hr fuel supply.

Liked: Nice and quiet. Site was clean. Hot water in the showers with a good spray.
Disliked: No hot water at pot washing sink. Not enough toilets or showers during busy periods. Bins were a good walk away. No electric between 11.30 and 6.30AM which is ok but it trips the cable every morning.

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite (family)
Liked: Place is amazing. Some space for kids to play (was lot kids so my son find friends to play with). If hungry they sell pizza there and if thirsty is mini bar where you can order some drinks. To be honest definitely place worth going and we gonna come back for sure.
Disliked: Some people with small kids put tent so close to us when they wake up with kids 6am kind of can't sleep anymore. But that just because of people nothing to do with place itself.
