Warren powered grass caravan site
Liked: Pitch was basic and on grass but in a great location. Toilet facilities were old but very clean. Everything was close by including kids activities and entertainment. Plenty of activities to do and a well stocked shop (although pricey)
Disliked: No pool /swimming slots available. Almost £7 for a pint of beer.

Liked: Park, AstroTurf area and Woof park :-)
Disliked: Would have been good to know what was included with the booking and entertainment passes ahead of arrival, lots of noise from nearby trains and some sort of race track on one of the evenings

Liked: Great overall atmosphere on the park friendly owners and fellow tourers and campers happy to have a chat. Great reception staff on arrival and thank god for the security in the club and patrolling the park !! Onside chippy a little expensive but that was to be expected as they always are but food was cooked to order and lovely but considering we arrived at 2pm as the girl was opening the door the counter, food warmer and floor was all rotten dirty with hand prints and food bits like it hadn't been cleaned the night before and I won't mention the girls apron which was disgusting. The park itself looks like it could be great for families club entertainment was brilliant other than the problems iv listed below. Touring facilities, showers and toilets all plentiful and clean. Apart from the Elsan point which is a dated toilet attached to some pvc and it stank. Some touring pitches looked great and in much better condition than the one I was allocated and I was in the meadows field which if the weather is good your in the sun all day which was nice. Set in a great location on the main road in between towyn and abegele and just 15min in a car from rhyl there's plenty of additional entertainment and lots of eateries local if you don't want to stay on the park.
Disliked: After ringing to confirm my booking and to check the pitch conditions after some heavy rain in the area that week and also rechecking on arrival i was told although a 'little' boggy the pitches had been checked that day and was all fine i arrived to a mud bath it was ridiculous but as i was assessing the pitch before i even unhitched security came by and after I refused to pitch on the centre of my allocated pitch as requested by receptionist was allowed to move over to the right as my whole weekend would have been a mud massacre especially with 2 teenagers in and out of the caravan not sure what pitches had been checked that day but it certainly wasn't the one i was given. After setting up we decided to give the entertainment a try on arrival there was already a large argument going on outside where the young girl was singing so i chose to go inside even though it was alovely evening and would have been nice to sit out. After 2 hours of sitting in the club i could see all the security running towards the entrance knowing my children was in the arcade located just outside the show bar past the toilets but before the main entrance I quickly got up to see what the commotion was as security proceeded to block the show bar door not allowing anyone to leave which was upsetting not being able to locate my children especially when it turns out a rather large fight had taken place outside with 2 people knocked out on the concrete awaiting medical attention. After finally letting my children back into the show bar the door remained locked and we was told we either stay locked in or if you wanted to leave you had to via the firedoor located at the side of the stage we decided to stay until yet another fight broke out at the bar after security told the young girl behind the bar not to serve a man who was clearly intoxicated any more but instead of security just asking him to leave they past it to the barmaid who them had to refuse him and so that then escalated so we decided to leave as I really don't like my children subject to all that and walked back to the caravan through a park full of ambulance, police and security. The day of check in I was sent a email with a link to 'manage my booking' with paid and free activities to book for my children I didn't mind paying as it was one of the reasons I chose to book this site but was we dissapointed trying to book any activities for the sat and sun we found all had been booked up apart from 2 free 45min swimming sessions i managed to book so I thought well at least i have got something or so I thought. On arrival to the 6pm session on the sat we was turned away at the door at 6.10pm by the life guard who said they couldn't open as they're wasn't enough chlorine in the water, this i would expect from a small private site but no a big commercial established one like park resorts advertises to be we was informed the pool would be reopen the next day and so our next booking would be OK so with 2 dissapointed children and after the previous nights fights we chose to get a take away and have a night sitting outside the caravan. We arrived at the swimming the following day to be told yet again they have closed the pool so I decided to have a word as so far I haven't been able to do anything I promised my kids I could other than sit and get drunk which yes is great but sadly 2 teenagers don't find that entertaining, on arrival to reception to discuss it i found a locked door so gave up. With 2 now bored and dissapointed kids I decided to end our weekend early and pack up. I Would like to stay again and try another touring pitch or have the option to choose a pitch I think that's a fair request after my whole weekend was ruined I can't really hold the park responsible for the actions of drunk idiots but the activities system is a sham and needs looking at as I'm not sure what I paid my money for as the offer of great activities for kids was just that a offer to get you in and nothing else.

Liked: The entertainment is amazing, so much for the children (and adults) to do! Staff are always so helpful. The park is close to the beach. Kept well maintained, with regular grass cutting and toilets were clean. The swimming pool is warm and the slide is a winner for the older children. This is my second time and I will be back!
Disliked: The swimming only lasted 45 minutes.
