From the manager: Thanks for the review Stephanie it is very much appreciated ,we do allow barbecues as long as they are raised off the floor so that they don't scorch the grass ,we don't allow fires because of the damage they cause and we are not insured for fires ,gone this clears up any confusion .
Friendly welcome, lovely well maintained site.

Electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked: Great news toilet block and lovely hot showers, we were pitched on the field and with the amount of rain we'd had it should have been sodden but the ground was well drained! Ged was super helpful, especially when we had our car break down and had to arrange for it to be collected! Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back.

Liked: Lovely surroundings, friendly hosts. We were lucky enough to upgrade to a pod as ground was to wet to put up the tent when we arrived. The pod was lovely, very private and very spacious. We will definately be making another visit next year!!

Liked: This was our 1st family camping trip ! And we have loved every minute despite the weather not always on our side. From arrival at 11 we were met by (assume owner/managers) who were friendly and informative telling us good place to pitch and things to do on a day. Immaculate showering facilities cleaned daily. Washing up area. Lovely site with views that were perfect even on the bleek days. We had a trip to saltburn (glorious day) day trip to whitby rained but lovely all the same. Nice day walking we didn't make it to the big hill(can't recall its name) but it's on the to do list next time. Lovley pub over the road (busy road) but nice food and few drinks. Heard there's a bar being built on site and a cafe too this will most definitely be an added bonus for the site and we can't wait to return to try them out!! Also WiFi available to purchase which is good when you have a teenager whos attached to his phone! 😂
Disliked: Nothing.
