Liked: The tent pitch had amazing views particularly at sun set. The toilet and shower block were immaculate.
Disliked: No campfires but I understand why because it can be quite breezy.

Liked: Great on-site facilities e.g. swimming pools, bar/restaurant, play areas and shop. Lovely location too. Close to the beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
Disliked: Close to main road so there is a some traffic noise at times (nothing too bad though)

Liked: We had our annual family camping long weekend at Newlands in Dorset. Some of us were in tents & some in vans . We all had a great time with afternoon / evening bbqs , swimming , an evening in the Tow bar .The food was good & all the staff were helpful & friendly . The kids throughly enjoyed the gaming room & park . The toilets & showered were cleaned regularly throughout the day . We finished our stay in the Tow Bar with a lovely family Sunday lunch before heading home . The sun even showed up for some of our stay which was great . Lots of families memories made over the long weekend.
Disliked: It was a little noisy at night due to the traffic but we soon got used to it. And it hasn’t put us off coming again .

Liked: Big clean showers Close to the beach Friendly staff Bar, arcade room and kids entertainment at half term Swimming pool is very well kept and fair booking system
Disliked: Suffers from boggy areas because of the tiered hillside Nowhere flat for kids to play football or ride bikes

From the manager: Hello, Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry to hear that you didn't find the big area of grass that is usually used for games like football and even cricket! Sadly we can not control the British weather and we do our best to make the drainage on the pitches the best that we can. Best wishes, Newlands Holidays
We enjoyed our week, but wouldn't rush back

Liked: Good facilities - swimming pool, soft play, bar, games room, outdoor play area. Location - walking distance from Charmouth beach, and well placed to explore Dorset/Devon coast.
Disliked: Road noise from the nearby busy A road - definitely not a tranquil, peaceful location. Our hardstanding touring pitch was towards the top of the site, which is on quite a slope. The pitch itself was level, but due to the terraced nature of the site the pitch felt quite small and constrained. There was no real space for our young kids to roam free safely in the vicinity of our pitch, without taking them to the play area on the other side of the site. The toilet blocks were ok, but a bit tired and need of modernisation.

Liked: The campsite was whimsical especially near the top of it we saw all the beautiful hills views and beaches that stretched wide.Inside of the camp the swimming pool were very relaxing and allowed me and my family to ease our minds. The bathrooms and showers very clean and spacious. We also had access to many bins around the area and fresh drinking and cleaning water and a shop if we ever needed to restock.I would go here again and would recommend it to anyone as there are many facilities available in such an affordable price.

Liked: Facilities were very clean, staff really nice and good location for walking into the village
Disliked: Unfortunately we were put in the middle of 8 pitches that had all travelled together making it rather loud. When we complain they were very apologetic and told us who to ring if we had any trouble. Pitch sizes were very deep so we didn't have a massive amount of room at the back of our van conversion

Apologies that you have noisy neighbours, we do our best to monitor night time noise but are sorry that on this occasion, that we couldn't manage it perfectly. Best wishes, Newlands Holidays

Liked: Our stay at Newlands Holiday Park was fantastic, with pleasantly changeable weather we managed to enjoy the entire stay at this great campsite, we took advantage of the attractions at the campsite - swimming pools, game rooms and more, and we also went for a wonderful walk to the nearby beach which took a few minutes walk and we enjoyed wonderful views of the sea from the campsite, the campsite was clean and well-kept, the staff was very nice and helpful😊, we were at this campsite for the second time and of course it was a success
