Liked: We came back here as it’s a great little site. Unfortunately my bad for not reading the small print. The pub itself is shut on a Mon & Tues. However me went to another great pub not far away for dinner called the Church Inn, absolutely fantastic.. this site is quiet and facilities are spotlessly clean.

Liked: Great location. The facilties were very clean and good standard. Well kept pitches with lovely views. The owner gave us a leaflet detailing 3 lovely walks all from the campsite. Had breakfast first morning in the pub and it was the best cooked breakfast we had had so we had again on 2nd morning
Disliked: Nothing really, the pub wasn't open Monday or Tuesday but understand owners need a break.

Liked: A quiet site located near several walks including the High Peak trail. The site's facilities are excellent, the showers are well maintained and modern. The owner is very welcoming and works non stop to welcome guests to the site and serve customers in the pub. Dogs are very welcome in the bar and part of the restaurant. We did not eat there but all plates were empty. Will definitely visit again.

Liked: The site is convenient for many places including Buxton, Bakewell and numerous walks. The facilities were spotless (though there were only two vans on the site).
Disliked: When the site is full (with 20+ vans) the facilities may be too limited, with only two washing-up sinks etc.
