Liked: -Children’s facilities - great play areas and animals to entertain them -Less than ten minute walk to centre of local village with brilliant pubs and amenities (highly recommend Brasenose Arms for excellent food and service) -Pitches near the play area were mostly young families so wasn’t noisy late at night -Toilet and shower facilities were clean and well maintained -Really friendly staff made you feel like part of the community as a first timer :) -Fire pit hire was a nice touch -Great big level places to pitch up and could pitch up as a group with another family we holidayed with -Close to lots of great places for days out including Blenheim Palace and Stowe Gardens National Trust, easy access to the M40
Disliked: -Men’s showers could do with hooks for hanging items on back of doors as they weren’t quite as high quality as the women’s facilities - Site is quite open to the elements so the wind could feel quite strong at times. These are both very minor things and wouldn’t impact on our decision to book again.

Liked: Clean facilities, great play area for the children, my son had a blast. Was even a bouncy castle up one of the evenings. Nice walk to local pubs on the canal.
Disliked: Noise from the trains which I knew about beforehand and did not ruin our stay

Liked: Love how family friendly this site is. Play area, bouncy castle and the goat pen! Fire pits available to add to the camping experience. I had been before and on both occasions it’s never felt over crowded. Both toilet/wash up areas were cleaned regularly. Little shop on site for any essentials and treats. An ice cream can even did the rounds so was nice to have an ice cream when the sun was shining.
Disliked: Only potential issue for some is the train line that runs close to one side of the site. Didn’t bother me though.

Liked: Open site with trees and plenty of birds. The goats and aviary are lovely to visit. Good, clean facilities and a short walk to the canal footpath and the village. We particularly enjoyed the visit from the young magpie and the early morning squirrel in the tent 😄
Disliked: Obviously not the fault of the site owners but the trains running through the night nearby meant for some disturbed sleep, earplugs are a must!

Liked: Absolutely loved it here, coming back in July. Site is beautifully clean and well organized. Can hire fire pits here and buy wood on site. Kids loved doing toasted marshmallows!
Disliked: Food wasnt the best, pizza was ok very small for the price. Asked for jumbo hotdog 2 small sausages in a small bun didnt even fit the sausages, no fried onions. Chilli was more like spaghetti bolognese.

Liked: Lovely campsite. Great shop and hot food available at weekend. The goats and birds are a great touch. Facilities are ample and clean. Well presented and suit the site. Kids play area is good, the bouncy castle was a hit with our daughter. Staff were friendly and attentive at check in. Really really good campsite. Busy but not crowded. Lots of open space. Definitely heading back for a weekend soon again.
