Liked: Lovely Site. Met by a smashing lady who told us to pick our own spot. Nice level pitch was found. The campsite is in a working farm. This was great as there were lots of animals to see and pet. It also has a wonderful river running close to it. Beautiful shallow falls with wooden bridges to cross. A half hour walk into town.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike really

Liked: The owners were so friendly and helpful. The site amenities were all pointed out and explained. The site was really clean and well kept with a fantastic new toilet and shower block. The site is well protected from artificial light so when there were no clouds, a very clear sky of stars at night. There is also a lovely little river at the bottom of the site we paddled in and skimmed stones for ages. Very peaceful. Lovely wooded footpaths to either the Beacons or the town of Brecon a short walk away. Every evening the owners visited to make sure we were ok which was a nice touch too. My son and I are looking forward to going back. Now we have found this site, we will not be looking for another in this area.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: We were so lucky to snag the last hard standing pitch at short notice for the May bank holiday weekend. The owners were super welcoming, the campsite was well-kept, and we loved the stream and the farm animals. The small campsite was the perfect size for us and a great location for Brecon and the mountains. Some reviews mention the road - we didn’t hear it over the rushing of the stream.
Disliked: At full capacity, the lovely new clean showers had variable water pressure and were slow to drain, flooding the cubicle. Don’t let that put you off though! It was easily dealt with using the squeegee mop.
