Liked: Fabulous site with great pitches that’s aren’t on top of each other which affords you privacy and a great stay. We had two nights and enjoyed a fire both nights. The location is stunning and the facilities are fantastic. There are walks nearby and it’s close to plenty of quaint towns to go visit. Though you could easily not leave the camp-site as it’s a great place to just sit and relax. Willy & Sophie are great hosts and they’ve really thought of everything to provide a fantastic stay. The toilets and showers are pristine and run well. There is also a washing machine and sinks for washing up on site. The place itself is very picturesque and the main sound is birds chirping. There is a main road nearby however I didn’t really notice the sound. The local take-away delivers - though we didn’t use it but it gets good reviews. The whole vibe of the place is totally relaxed and it just made for a perfect stay. I’ll be back for sure.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The grounds were lovely and I pitched up in the old walled garden area. It was quieter in there you couldn’t hear the road. Nice level pitch with electric, water and grey waste drain . Owner was very nice and explained where everything was. Wish things were sign posted as I forgot to ask where the chemical waste disposal was. Lovely to see the wild rabbits running around early in the morning.
Disliked: The place was looking a bit tired but as I said beautiful grounds to have a campsite. Was surprised to only find one shower each for the men and women and only two toilets in the ladies, if the campsite got busy as it was quite big think you would end up queuing. Overall I would stay again as I now know what to expect, nice area to be in.
