Liked: Friendly staff . We had a problem with our caravan when we arrived and they maintenance team sorted it out with no charge. Toilet block always clean a tidy. Bar well stocked as was the shop. Fish and chips shop was also very good.
Disliked: No sports ( sky or tnt ) on the bar TV so had to go to Penrith to watch the games.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback, regarding the Tv in the bar and sky this is something we are looking into.

Liked: Went with my sister , wanted a quiet spot , which we found in the over flow field. The main area we found was more suited to families and groups travelling together. Excellent site for all !! Great reception , good little shop. Small coffee shop and a tiny chip shop that is worth a visit ! Fantastic play area for children . Toilets and showers were clean and had plenty of hot water .
Disliked: Nothing to dislike about this site.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Very welcoming and friendly staff - showers were lovely and the facilities were kept very clean. Bar was well stocked and the children's play area was great and could be used by a range of ages. Shop was well equipped and offered some local pies and cakes. Make sure you arrive early as non-electric pitches are first come, first serve. Lovely, dog friendly site; will be coming back.
Disliked: Bit of a long queue for fish and chips but lovely to have this facility on site. If they expanded the coffee shop to provide breakfast they would make an absolute fortune!

Liked: This pitch had everything it was super clean to the point where the bleach was staining your clothes in the toilets! Cant complain though as it was super clean and lots of great facilities
Disliked: There are a lot of children so a pitch further out is good
