Liked: Great location. Easy access. Toilets were super clean.
Disliked: Would have been nice to have hot water in the toilets - and a shower, but for a short stay it was perfect.

Liked: The view of the viaduct was amazing, luckily the weather stayed nice for our one night stay here. The toilet facilities were clean and tidy which is rare from a campsite in the sticks. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be coming back again very soon before the colder months come.
Disliked: The only thing we disliked was that there was no fire logs. It did say on the booking confirmation that there would be logs to purchase on site but unfortunately there wasn’t.

Liked: When we first rocked up no one was there. And was a bit apprehensive as the toilet block looked like a murder unit. Might be because it was a bit spooky all by ourselves. Saying that was pleasantly suprised as inside the unit it was super clean well maintained and had extra items in for cleaning. Was a lovely site. Would say needs to be better sign posted as we drove past and ended up up the most white knuckle road I've been on in a while. So if you are going follow to the post code which brings you to the nature reserve. Follow the road up and it's the field on the left just before the Ford. As others have said the grass was long, so wet feet will happen. It would have been nice if perhaps the middle of the field had been mowed but that's not really much of an issue to be honest. My kids enjoyed it was a lovely site and will return. We never saw anyone for the three days so maybe a daily visit would be good. And bring your own firewood as wasn't any to buy. But again if you know this in advance this isn't an issue. Very good value for money and amenities better than expected. Also make sure you do wait up to see the stars as it was an amazing view with no light pollution.

Liked: Great location, clean facilities, plenty of space, fire pits provided, lots of flat level pitches with good deep soil for tent pegs
Disliked: Grass was upto mid shin in most of the field which was a bit of a pain with it all being wet

Liked: The campsite has nice views of the river and the viaduct.
Disliked: We didn’t realise when booking that large groups were allowed. We pitched up and a couple of hours later we were surrounded by a group of around 20-30 people a lot of them young children. This group were all very loud and the children were running riot around the campground. We decided to pack the awning away and move pitch further down the field. It was quieter but we could still hear the children screaming and running around in to the early hours, they were given bright torches which they were shining in people’s tents. The adults didn’t seem to care that they were upsetting all the other campers. We booked for two nights but decided to leave the next day. It absolutely baffles me that this campsite charges £10 for an extra dog for the weekend and a family of up to 6 people pay less than a couple with 2 dogs who are not using any of the facilities.

Liked: Quite location, precisely what we were looking for. Being remote and located next to the river was brilliant to wake up to. Toilet block was well maintained as well Plently of space across the site so wasn't crowded

Liked: Location
Disliked: Unfortunately I can't recommend this site, my stay was ruined by a large group of families probably about 8 car loads including lots of kids who took over the site and made a lot of noise until late, there was no warden and no signal to call the number given, I left early next day so missed one more night there
