Electric optional grass tent or campervan pitch (large)
Liked: Friendly staff, hot water and showers, washing up facilities. Onsite pizza van. quiet after 10:30pm
Disliked: pitches were very close together. Our neighbours tent was a meter away from ours. This made noise (snoring from others) disturbing at night. I ended up having to sleep with my earbuds in.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (small)
Liked: The site was clean and quiet. Staff very friendly
Disliked: The accuracy of the description! It was twice as far away from what was stated. Nowhere near Wastwater! The pub was also nowhere near the site and required us to drive.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (medium)
Liked: The staff was amazing the site was quiet and beautiful scenery all around, although a small site onsite facilities were better than most large chain sites with a lot farer prices than anywhere I’ve been.
Disliked: The only caveat to the site is the roads to get there if you come from the wrong way (not in from Kendal) there is 2 miles or single track country roads with little to none passing points, coming in from Kendal is a lot shorter but the same issue

Valley View non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch
Liked: Nice rural setting, nice staff, good well stocked shop
Disliked: Toilet/shower block not good, shower cubicles to small, hard to keep your gear dry while showering, wash basin tap was loose and no hand dryer just paper towels (when there is some)

Electric optional grass tent or campervan pitch (medium)
Liked: Nice friendly welcome on arrival. Distances between pitches were good and they are relatively flat. Site was quiet once the rain came and "youths in tents" in the next field had quietened down.
Disliked: Showers and toilet block too small and shower area cubicles cramped. Not enough shelving in shower cubicle to keep stuff out of way of the water. Only two toilets (no urinals) in mens toilets and only two showers. Twice I had to go back later to use the facilities.
