Field non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: We stayed 3 nights with our dog and it was absolutely beautiful. The facilities are basic so you will need to take your own loo roll and hand wash and you will need to take all rubbish with you as there’s no bins. But the gardens are so lovely, it’s a really special site. It was also really quiet which was perfect, as we have never enjoyed lively sites. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful stay. We would absolutely be returning if it wasn’t for the fact our baby is due in July and the site is adults only. Really wish we had found it a long time ago as we would have come here a lot!
Disliked: The only thing I would say is needed is a sink for washing up. And maybe a small bin even if just for dog waste, as we had to drive off the site to find bins for this. But didn’t spoil the trip for us.

Liked: Fab find, adult only campsite. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely owner, very helpful. Gorgeous grounds, well kept grass and gardens. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds to listen to and watch. The ground was soft so it was easy to peg the tent. Will absolutely be coming back next year. Thankyou for having us!
Disliked: No dislikes. Just recommendations: a small outside washing up station would be amazing!

Liked: Very quiet campsite, plenty of room between tents (8 max in huge field), dog friendly, adults only, flat, beautiful gardens, good loos, hot water, shower, picnic areas, near to interesting town and several farm shops, local attractions, etc. We were only there two days but this was best site we've found in a long time! I'm sure we'll return.
Disliked: Lack of washing-up stand, but not a big deal.

Liked: This is our favourite campsite, been to it twice now and will definitely come again. The owner is really friendly and welcoming. Good to have a natter to him. The campsite has such a beautiful garden and the site has plenty of space so you don't feel on top of each other like at other sites. Toilet and showers are good too!
