Little Island Retreat cabin
Liked: We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Rob’s little island retreat! We were incredibly lucky with the weather so were able to make full use of the new jetty Rob had built prior to our stay. A highlight for us definitely included the friendly pair of ducks (Shayne and Wayne) whom Rob warned us were sure to steal our hearts! The setting is pure paradise as you are truly immersed in the gorgeous east Anglian countryside surrounded by ancient oak trees, you will be sure to not want to leave after a taste of this little slice of heaven!

Little Island Retreat cabin
Liked: Amazing place for solitude. No wifi. No TV. Comfortable bed and views with a view. Shane and Wayne the 2 ducks will keep you entertained! Nothing is too much trouble and Rob is close by.
Disliked: Not much to add apart from wet footwear as the grass was very wet due to the rain and dew the next morning. We should have remembered our wellies. The walk to the Shower block was a bit further than we thought but it's all fresh air so just go prepared with footwear.

Little Island Retreat cabin
Liked: Beautiful cabin with good amount of blankets and comfy seats for outside. Also well stocked cooking utensils for the bbq. The location is gorgeous and very secluded, we didn’t see anyone apart from the two friendly ducks Shayne and Wayne. The utility room by where you park your car is perfect to use for a morning shower, stocking things in the fridge or filling up the cool box that’s provided for a day out. Would be a great idea to bring a bike for cycling around the country roads or going to the nearby villages for a drink at the pub. The yoga session that was done with Gem was also brilliant, my girlfriend found her so knowledgeable and lovely to be around. Seeing the 2 horses and sheep in the paddock nearby was also nice! Overall brilliant stay and well worth it. Thank you Rob and Gem.
