Liked: This was mine and my daughter’s first camping trip , we chose this as it was close to Alton towers on arrival the lovely lady who checked us in was welcoming and kind . She also told us if we needed a hand to give her a shout as we were very nervous being our first time . We really enjoyed ourselves x

Liked: Play area, friendliness of owners of the site, plenty of parking, everything. Excellent stay. Near to Alton Towers. Lovely owners. Although we didn't eat in the pub I did have an interaction with a lovely server on Sunday. He had impeccable manners and such a pleasant persona, I was impressed. The food looked gorgeous from what I could see. The only reason we didn't eat on site is because my daughter is vegan and we found another place up the road with lots on their vegan menu. It was a lovely stay. Thanks to John and his wife for making it an enjoyable stay

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Large pitches and close to Alton Towers. Reasonable toilet/ shower facilities, but across a car park to get to them. The pub food was great and the team were very friendly.
Disliked: The site is very near the road, so quite a lot of road noise. The toilets and shower block were across the pub car park, so possibly not ideal for younger children.
