Camping Cáceres

喜欢: If Carlsberg did Motorhome parks !!!
What a lovely well run well thought out park. Plenty of space between pitches but the best thing is every pitch has its own self contained shower and toilet block so no sharing with others on the site. The water was piping hot and everything was clean. There is a little shop on site selling essentials and a very good restaurant and bar. Sites often advertise WiFi but it doesn't work across the whole site but on this site it was possible to stream TV without buffering
We would have loved to have stayed another night but we were on a schedule.

And, although an hour walk to town, a beautiful walk through the countryside with a glorious array of wildflowers. Uneven path so you need good mobility. This is the walk to town if you put in Google directions to Caceres Old Town, not advertised by the staff. Good bus link also into town if you are not up for a long walk.

不喜欢: No advertising or explanation on the recycling in camp reception and on the bins.

喜欢: Private shower and toilet blocks on pitch, restaurant was nice with great quality food and nice wines. Location is easy to get to.

喜欢: Personal toilet and shower. Love this site, we’ve stayed here before, but both times we were only using as an overnight stop.

不喜欢: On a slope and as it rained (monsoon like ), the rainwater washed down to the reception, bar cafeteria etc it formed a lake, so bad my husband had to roll his trouser legs up luckily he was wearing Crocs . Many of the pitches were wet and muddy. We wanted to change our pitch which was no problem, they were very helpful.

Helpful staff who let us choose a different pitch.
Great bar area.

不喜欢: The site was dated, scruffy and the so called individual toilet and shower facilities were disgusting. Plus, we were charged for 3 nights even though we left after one.

不喜欢: El restaurante estaba cerrado a las horas que debería estar abierto creo yo . Cerrar a medio día 🤷‍♀️
