Tuscan culture connoisseurs: get this. A mere couple of kilometres' drive or bus ride from Camping Boschetto di Piemma will take you to the medieval walled village of San Gimignano, so famed for its stone towers, 13th-century walls and other ancient structures that it's one of Italy's designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Make your way back home after this for traditional Tuscan cuisine of all flavours as well as international dishes and pizzas at the site's bar-restaurant Selva delle Torri, to have on the terrace overlooking the spectacular surroundings and gardens. Although barbecues are allowed on site and there's a food shop, make room for at least a couple of dinners at this smashingly set restaurant, for it's 'much more than just a pizza place', as one sated guest satisfactorily notes. These are peaceful surrounds all around, amid the cool shade and tall trees of an elm and oak forest, in a remote setting surrounded by green Chianti hills. Leisure facilities include a heated outdoor pool, three tennis courts, a small football pitch and a playground, all as modern and well-maintained as the spacious restaurant. Although this is a remote and peaceful place, you don't have to hide away completely if there's a big match on, as major sporting fixtures are shown on the big screen at the bar: raise a glass or drown your sorrows at the end result with a glass of the finest local wine.

喜欢: Saubere Duschen und Toiletten. Stellplatz gut. Pizzaria mit Minimark sehr zu empfehlen.

不喜欢: Wenn man, weder englisch noch italienisch spricht, wird es schwer sich am Empfang (diese war nicht ganz so freundlich) zu verständigen.

喜欢: Bardzo miła obsługa na recepcji. Łazienki były bardzo zadbane(Były wyposażone w mydło i suszarki do rąk). Z campingu można dojechać do San Gimigiano autobusem miejskim a bilety można kupić w recepcji za 1,30€ (za osobę w jedna stronę). Dodatkowa na recepcji po przyjedzie otrzymamy rozpiskę jazdy autobusów wiec napewno się nie zgubicie. W camingu znajduje się restauracja oraz sklepik gdzie można zaopatrzyć się w lokalne produkty czy zakupić pamiątkę z Włoch. Dodatkowo można zostawić auto w środku jak zamierzacie spać w namiocie czy przyjeżdżacie kamperem w innym wypadku gdy zamierzacie spać w holenderskim domku auto trzeba zostawić na parkingu przed brama wjazdową, Tak jak pisałem powyżej zadbany camping, miła obsługa i przystępnie cenowo. Polecam serdecznie idealny camping by zwiedzić zabytkowe miasteczko San Gimigiano.

喜欢: Schöner Platz zwischen alten Bäumen. Sanitär sauber. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Minimarkt etwas spartanisch aber man findet das Nötigste. Nach San Gimignano mit dem Rad oder dem Bus gut erreichbar. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

喜欢: Niemiła obsługa ,toalety czyste lecz już swoje przeżyły , woda ciepła leci po 3/4 min , w miejscowej restauracji karaluch na stole !!!, obsługa podeszła po zamówienie po 15 min gdy zwróciliśmy uwagę ! Zresztą złe zrealizowała zamówienie - nie ma sezonu ! dopiero 1 maja . Skradziono nam podłogę- plandekę i czeski film nikt nic nie wie - brak żadnej odpowiedzialnosci .Nie polecam !

不喜欢: Niemiła obsługa , miejsce opłacone 2 miesiące wcześniej i żądają zapłaty - bałagan . Duża ilość toalet lecz swoje czasy świetności już przeżyły ,po 3/4 min leci ciepła woda! Miejscowa restauracja powitała na na zamówionym stoliku ! Karaluchem ! , obsługa zauważyła nas dopiero po zwróceniu uwagi po 15 min . , zamówienie oczywiście nie było kompletne ! Wisienka na torcie : podczas naszego kilku godzinnego wyjazdu z kampingu skradziono nam podłoże - plandekę przed kamper , była po prostu mokra i zostawiliśmy ją na parceli żeby przeschła ,wracamy i jej nie ma ! Obsługa - ta sama Pani ! mówi ,że nie mają monitoringu i nic nie poradzi . Szczerze nie polecam!!!

This peaceful place is a couple of kilometres from the fab old town of San Gimignano, on a hillside circled by its 13th-century walls. It's the only settlement in the world to have so many well-preserved ancient stone towers (at least 12), and is also famed for its Vernaccia di San Gimignana white wine, acclaimed throughout the country since Renaissance times. You have options day and night in this beaut and scenic town: start off with a hike to the top of Torre Grossa, one of the highest towers in town for spectacular views of the city and its surrounds, then stroll around to the Duomo and the Palazzo Comunale, to visit the Museum of Medieval Art. The Camping Boschetto di Piemma team reckons a gelato in Piazza Cisterna is a must, as well as a romantic meal in one of the small piazzas serving tasty Tuscan cuisine. You should also have a look at the ruins of Montestaffoli fortress – and book a wine tasting tour in town too. Within day trip distance are Siena, about 45 minutes' drive away; Florence, just under an hour, and Pisa, within an hour and a half.
