Spread over ten hectares of pinewood forest on the Tuscany coast near Grosseto lies handsome and family-friendly Camping La Principina, a kilometre from blue Tuscan waters easily reached via a walking path. Excursions and trips into the region are arranged at reception and bike hire is available for pedals to the beach or around the area. If you'd rather relax at base, the site team arranges activities and entertainment for all ages from mid-June until the end of August; for sorting your own days out, there are two boules courts, a sports field and a beach volleyball court, all open from June. Free shared barbecues are available on site and the site's supermarket sells fresh bread every day. If you'd rather someone else did the cooking, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and the pizzeria serves stonebaked pizzas at dinner time; takeaway service is available on request. The bar serves coffees and drinks from morning to night. Camping La Principina also has toilet blocks with hot water showers (for an extra charge), disabled facilities and washing machines and dryers; sinks for clothes and dish washing, and chemical toilet drains.

Unter Tags ruhig und schattig
Der Zugang zum Meer ist wunderschön!

不喜欢: Leider ist der Campingplatz Abends sehr lange sehr laut. Die Animation geht ca bis 12 und ist überall auf dem Campingplatz sehr stark zu hören.
Hinzu kommt dass öfters Flieger über den Campingplatz Fliegen, da ein Militärstützpunkt in der Nähe ist.
Leider liegt auch auf der Campingfläche öfters Müll, auf den Toiletten gibt es weder Toilettenpapier noch Seife.
Man muss beachten, dass man für die Liegen am Strand extra bezahlen muss. Für den Weg zum Strand sind Fahrräder praktisch

喜欢: Siamo stati tre notti al Camping La Principina. Piazzola all'ombra. Servizi essenziali, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Mare raggiungibile a piedi. Nel complesso è stata una bel soggiorno senza problemi e in relax.

喜欢: Abbiamo preso una piazzola per tenda e sono molto spaziosi, con parcheggio auto gratis
Ambiente bello soprattutto per famiglie, con animazione e giochi. Anche se abbiamo passato solo due notti è un bel campeggio.
I bagni venivano puliti 3 volte al giorno quindi puliti.

喜欢: Wunderschöne Lage, nicht weit vom Meer. Nettes Personal und das Essen in der kleinen Gaststätte war sehr lecker.

不喜欢: Fehlende Seife und Toilettenpapier.
Leider war es auch immer sehr lange laut, so dass der Schlaf zu kurz kam.

Camping La Principina is in a super setting for those who want to combine a spot of Tuscan relaxing with a spot of Tuscan culture – and all in a scenic pinewood a kilometre from a long and sandy beach. The surroundings are filled with archaeological sites (Vetulonia, Roselle and Populonia), medieval villages (Pitigliano, Magliano and Massa Marittima) and natural parks (Maremma and Val di Cornia). It's also a land of thermal waters – the most famed sites are Saturnia, Sovana and Sorano – and of islands: Giglio, Giannutri and Elba are easily reachable with daily connections from the local ports. Hikers have several paths to traverse in the valleys at the slope of Mount Amiata; Marina di Grosseto is five kilometres away and is connected to the site via a cycling trail. Castiglione della Pescaia and Grosseto are about 11 kilometres away, and Florence and Rome are both within a couple of hours' drive.
