喜欢: Fab campsite. Very friendly English owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Very well placed for the river Gironde with its beautiful seafood restaurants. Lovely little villages and nice for cycling.
Clean tidy facilities with great hot water

喜欢: Way better than we ever expected. Easy to find, friendly staff on arrival. We had no idea it was run by English so it was a pleasant surprise, lots of English friendly people staying on site too. Showed to our pitch and around the place soon as we arrived.
Site is amazing, so quiet, clean facilities. Local on site bar/restaurant which we ate in twice and not a single fault to be had. Fish & chips was lovely! Prices reasonable.
Pool was great, kids loved it.
We actually loved it so much we extended our stay by an extra 2 nights. Only moving on as we planned to move around in France but we hope this site hasn't ruined our expectations of other sites!
So many other campers on site say they come here every year, so I think that speaks for itself.
We cycled into town, only 10 minutes ride. Experienced the food market that was on a Tuesday, very nice food.
Added bonus that we didn't realise, really good Wifi in all areas of the site. (80mb) Better than my Wifi at home!

不喜欢: My only real criticism is that the pool needs a bit of TLC, few loose tiles around the edges, but I really am being picky. I am sure the staff would do this before it came dangerous.

喜欢: Very warm welcome from the owner, lovely man. Staff great too. Very accommodating. See below. Excellent food in the restaurant. Beautiful setting and very clean. Huge pitches. If in the area, please go.

不喜欢: Nothing about the site. booked through pitch up, said there was 8 spaces, paid our money but when there, fully booked! Owner went out his way to accommodate us offering us an extension to ensure we got electric otherwise we would have had nowhere to pitch.

喜欢: Emplacements spacieux très arborés. Camping très beau et très bien tenu. Avec un patron d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. L'espace restaurant est lui aussi très bien avec un très bon rapport qualité prix

喜欢: The owners were lovely.
The showers and toilets were clean and well stocked.
There’s free wifi on the site which was very fast and usable as we had to work for part of our stay.
There was a pool which was lovely as it was hot during our stay.
The site has 2 lakes and a bar on the lake which is very reasonably priced and the food was amazing!
The bar was a perfect place to meet others on the site and make new friends.
We will definitely be returning again for another visit.

喜欢: Location and all round the lakes. In quiet season so showers and toilets limited in numbers. I guess/hope more mobile facilities are brought in for high season otherwise I’d be giving a less encouraging feedback

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
We do indeed have more toilets and showers however over the low season we only have one open as you can understand we extremely quiet and it is not worth opening more (heating/electric/water costs etc)

We have just opened our NEWLY RENOVATED large shower block with an addition 3 showers and 3 toilets including disabled. So the total on site is 4 toilets and 4 showers which is plenty for the size. It also includes a brand new washing machine room and 2 washing up facilities.
