喜欢 Terrific site. A beautiful place to stay. Quiet, peaceful. The staff were really helpful and very welcoming. Helped me with a spare adapter for electric hookup. Thank you. The pool is superb. I had it all to myself too. I will definitely return.

喜欢 Very friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy site. Small swimming pool to cool down as very hot. Good location, close to shops. Free wi fi.

不喜欢 Mosquitoes/ midges were on the prowl for any uncovered flesh. Shared toilets/ shower facilities. No loo roll luckily we had some.

喜欢 Level pitches under trees. Close to areas of interest. Cycle routes close by and easy to follow. Supermarket within walking distance. Office staff friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy site. Small but adequate outside pool on site.

不喜欢 Sanitary facilities need updating - quite basic though adequate. Toilets lacked lighting so dark and locks and handles were loose. No toilet seats or paper.
Set off a main road so noise from traffic apparent.

Outdoorsy visitors can hire bikes from the campsite to explore numerous local cycle paths leading to the landmark La Coubre Lighthouse (45 minutes by bike) and Ronce-Les-Bains (20 minutes) beaches. On sunny days, stay cool with rides through the trees at La Palmyre (half an hour). Down at the beach, try your hand at dinghy sailing or sand yachting off Plage des Pins de Cordouan (20 minutes’ drive). For family days out with the kids, there are sea lion and parrot shows at Zoo La Palmyre (15 minutes). Cross the Oléron Bridge to discover extensive sandy beaches, pretty villages and the castle on the Île d’Oléron (20 minutes), or visit the limestone cliff caves at Meschers-sur-Gironde (35 minutes). Royan (25 minutes) is known for its sheltered beaches and watersports, while the International Sea Centre at Rochefort (half an hour) makes an enjoyable day trip to poke around a rope factory and former naval dockyards. Marennes (15 minutes) is the spot for any budding gourmets in the family, as it's renowned for its oyster beds and seafood restaurants.
