喜欢 Spacious pitches and free showers

不喜欢 The shop was very poorly stocked. The Boss was very rude and unreasonable.

Whilst we were having a drink at the bar one evening we saw a group of older children (approx 8 to 10 year olds) playing on a toddler slide. Whilst playing they tipped it off balance (they didn't tip it over or break it in any way).

The Boss came out and shouted at the children. Most of the children ran off when he came out but two stayed by the slide. He demanded them to take them back to their parents and said that he was kicking them off if the campsite. He shouted at the children all the way back, making the younger one cry, and then had a shouting match with before kicking them off of the campsite.

His reaction was completely over the top, unreasonable and out of proportion given that no damage was caused.

喜欢 So close to the tunnel was an ideal stay over. Nice site for children.

不喜欢 We was right next to the toilets with a plum tree on our pitch. Lots of plums had fallen and were all squashed on the grass which attracted the wasps

喜欢 A friendly welcome, the shower and toilets were really clean

喜欢 Premium pitch. Swimming pool. Take-away. Proximity to Calais port. Closeness of local supermarkets (Carrefour, Lidl, Aldi). Friendly staff.

不喜欢 Onsite shop had practically no stock. I think it's because their season is almost over.

不喜欢 The fact they were unhelpful and very rude. We has broken down on the way to them - stuck in France and put up in a hotel. Totally genuine. We are back in the UK now and our MotorHome is still in France. I understand the cancellation policy but there was no offer of moving the booking or any kind of goodwill gesture of a refund. We did book through Pitchup.com who were really helpful but they paid the site directly in full. €222 lost and not one bit of remorse of goodwill.

不喜欢 Expensive, intermittent wifi.
No lifeguard at pool, mainly to keep order with unruly, daft teenagers diving and pushing each other in

喜欢 Large spacious flat pitches with plenty of shade.
Lots to do, table tennis, mini golf, exercise equipment, pool with slide
Snack bar is ok
Basic shop
Friendly staff
Showers and toilets clean. Toilet paper and seats.

不喜欢 Pool is very small, shuts at 6 and is mostly undercover, even on really hot days.
No soap in toilets but that isn’t unusual
