喜欢 Ruime plek, stroom in de buurt. Schaduw maar ook zon. Zeer rustig bij speeltuin en zwembad(je), gezellige herrie. Restaurantje is meer een kantine maar prima goedkope eenvoudige maaltijden.
Alles wordt goed schoongemaakt en gehouden. Aardig Personeel. Met de fiets ben je zo in het dorp, daar is op een bakker en hotel na niks te doen maar je kunt er heel mooi vlak fietsen langs kanaal met vele stuwtjes.

喜欢 Friendly hosts. Free to choose a tent spot. Facilities concentrated and very well maintained. Washing machine and dryer have finally met my need after long travels ! Playground including a small sized swimming pool which is attractive to kids, and easy for parents to keep an eye on them. Nice place for short or long stay!

Any stay at Camping Fontenoy should start with a trip to the scenic village of Fontenoy-le-Château, less than five minutes’ drive from the site. Wander the quiet streets, visit the museum of embroidery and then hire a boat in the village and sail along the canal to see the countryside from a new perspective… Tipplers might want to make their way to the town of Fougerolles, 30 minutes away, which is well known for the production of kirsch – you can call into the Ecomusée du Pays de la Cerise to trace the history of its distillation. For something to put that kirsch in, pick up some souvenirs with a stop at La Rochere glassworks, where you can join a tour to see how the spectacular pieces are made. There’s plenty for kids too: they can explore the paths and labyrinths of La Ferme Aventure or the streets of the stunning Parc des Miniatures, both within 30 minutes of Fontenoy, or you can travel a little bit further and make the trip to La Montagnes des Lamas, just over an hour from the site, to get up close with llamas and alpacas. End your holiday on a zen note with a spa day – les Thermes de Contrexéville and les Thermes de Vittel are both 45 minutes from the site and are top spots for taking the water and completely unwinding.
