Fancy a romantic or family hol in splendid Paris – but come down with les vapours at the thought of Paris hotel prices? Give Camping Paris Est a go to save more euros for souvenirs and eats: it's only 20 minutes from the capital, and between the city and heady days out among Mickey and co at Disneyland Paris 40 minutes away. Set on the banks of the Marne river in the Paris outskirts, Paris Est is a family-friendly site (but of course), with facilities on hand for those times when you're not sightseeing or rollercoastering: there's a bar and bistro with a spacious terrace and a playground where the kids can go loopy in between trips to see Mickey et al at Disneyland Paris. The grocery shop on site stocks fresh fruit, veg and a wide range of other foodie bits. And if you're not sure where to start when exploring the very famed capital city of France? 喜欢 This really is a great location for visiting Paris, directly on a bus route to connecting routes or the train station. We used both trains and busses to travel in and out.
Super site, well maintained, and toilet block cleaned regularly.
We had a Motorhome’s pitch which was generous in size. For a city site it was as though a little bit of countryside has been flown in.

不喜欢 There was a large group of people in 3 nearby chalets on the site…. The noise and booming music was totally unacceptable, and went on until 2am. More like a rave than a tranquil site. My frustration was the same as others on the site, who had no joy reporting it to the site staff who, they said, seemed uninterested

喜欢 Sehr schöne und saubere Anlage. Großer Stellplatz auf Rasen mit Stromanschluss.

不喜欢 Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

喜欢 Beautiful site with well segregated pitches right beside the river. Restaurant, bar and mini shop on site. Bus stop right outside the site taking you to the train station which is also within walking distance near to some local amenities.

不喜欢 Grass pitch clean and reasonably level, although tough woven grid made it difficult to peg out. Facilities could be cleaner. Wifi not free.

Paris is a paltry 20 minutes away by public transport (a bus stops right outside the site) and is crammed with world-famed sights and attractions that'll likely have you booking to come again before you've even said au revoir. Particularly recommended among the many by the Camping Paris Est team is the Louvre, the gallery housing the mega-famed Mona Lisa among its 35,000 or so objets d'art from prehistoric times to the present day. Lounge around under the Pyramid on the Louvre Palace grass after a long trip around the exhibits and then wander along the museum's Right Bank location for a brasserie bite to eat or a coffee on a tiny terrace before a photographic promenade along the Champs-Élysées… And then there's Île-de-France's other famed location… kids and big kids have Disneyland Paris 40 minutes away, for rides, thrills, Disneyland Village, and the chance to be snapped with the likes of Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear.
