Now here’s a location where you’ll really feel like you’re surrounded by nature – Camping Les Iles covers almost 30 acres of greenery on the banks of the Eure river, with a generous 600 metres of riverbank to its name. With two fishing ponds on site, a well-maintained collection of trees and flowers and a lovely riverside path to stroll along, this is a peaceful spot indeed – and one where you may find it difficult to believe that you’re just an hour’s drive from Paris. As well as space to relax, there's also plenty of provision for activity here. The site has a heated swimming pool (with retractable roof so you can still swim in less good weather), a paddling pool, a multisports court, a couple of pétanque courts, a billiards room and a table tennis area, so there’s a lot to keep you busy during time spent on site. Come along in summer and you’ll also be able to join in with organised entertainments, including quiz nights, pétanque tournaments, fishing competitions and dance evenings with live bands. During the summer months (May to September), the poolside snack bar is open for easy access to eats and drinks too. It’s not tricky to find food around here, however – the site is just on the edge of Ivry-la-Bataille, so there are several shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket within a 15-minute walk.

喜欢: Großer Stellplatz, problemloser freundlicher Empfang, gutes Internet, gut angeordnete Parzellen.

不喜欢: Von Dauercamper umzingelt die mit Laubbläsern etc. Krach machen, Hundegebelle, die Sauberkeit in den sanitär Räumen.

喜欢: Beautiful site with the rivers and wildlife. Very friendly and welcoming people especially at the cafe. We visited Paris and also spent a day at Marseilles. Near to Giverny and Monet’s garden and house, well worth a visit. Also went to Chateau de Vascœuil which had a sculpture garden including work by Dali and was dog friendly. A lovely peaceful site for a base to explore the area. Mainly French campers which was great! Food good in the cafe, supermarket nearby, Wi-Fi available

喜欢: Our pitch was a good size, and near the permanent residences which was really nice. The showers were hot and the pool was great, we spent quite a lot of time in there. We went to the snack bar the first night and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed being next to the beautiful river and watching the baby moorhens, ducks and even a swan! Other campers were quiet and respectful (we were in the tent section). I was glad that the tent section was seperate from the van / caravan section. Security felt good and we were happy for our son to be able to ride his bike around the site. The welcome at reception was warm and helpful.

不喜欢: I don't mind mixed gender facilities, but would prefer not to have to see men using the urinals! That was my only complaint

当地景点

Some guests will be using this site as a quick escape from Paris – but for those visiting the area, a day trip to Paris is certainly doable (and recommended). A drive of an hour or so will get you to the outskirts of the city, where you can pick up the metro to get into the centre for all the big landmarks or just soaking up the atmosphere. If you’re not up for Paris, there are alternatives – how about the stunning Palace of Versailles (45 minutes’ drive), the gorgeous Giverny gardens that inspired Monet (40 minutes) or a visit to Chartres (an hour), home to a fabulous Gothic cathedral and a riverbank flanked with medieval buildings. The Eure region has plenty of options for walks, bike rides, horse riding and watersports – or you could explore the scenery at leisure on the Eure Valley Railway (20 minutes). Places like Château d'Anet (five minutes) should satisfy those who like to explore a bit of history on holiday, while the go-karts, inflatables and wooden characters at Le Domaine de la Forêt Enchantée (45 minutes) make a great day trip for families with young kids.
