There’s so much to do on a holiday at Ze Camping Les Jardins du Morbihan – but putting up a tent is not on the list. Book a break at this Brittany site and you'll have all the facilities of a busy family campsite but you’ll be staying in a smart well-equipped static caravan.
You’ll need to bring bed linen and towels with you, but kitchen kit is provided along with all the appliances (including a cooker, fridge and dishwasher). Each caravan also has a private bathroom as well as a comfy living area with dining table, sofa, TV and heating. Outside, the covered deck has seating where you can relax in the open air.
So, that’s your own private space – what of the rest of the site? Well, the highlight for most guests is the aqua park, which has three heated pools to cater for all tastes. The indoor pool has soothing massage jets and bubble beds, plus a paddling pool with water games. Outside, there are waterslides, a paddling pool with water play kit and plenty of loungers for the sunbathers.
But that’s not all, because this site also has a gym, a spa with massage service, a mini farm, a tennis court, a multisports court, a play area, a games room, a pétanque court, a café/bar… in short, plenty to keep everyone busy for many days. And that's before you’ve even checked out all the activities (kids and adults) and entertainment in high season.
You’ll want to get out and about too, of course, as this location is in the Gulf of Morbihan Regional Natural Park, within 20 minutes' drive of Vannes and the coast. Best book a nice long stay…

To the coast first? There are several beaches nearby (within 25 minutes’ drive), and you can take boat trips around the Gulf of Morbihan from La Trinité-sur-Mer (35 minutes). A popular spot is Île-aux-Moines (an hour), the biggest of the gulf’s islands – it’s a lovely place to explore on bikes or on foot.
Close to the coast is Vannes (15 minutes), a pretty town where you can stroll between half-timbered houses in the historic centre and visit the art collection and medieval museum pieces at Château Gaillard. Largoet Castle (20 minutes) and the standing stones of Carnac (35 minutes) are also good places to get tastes of the area's history.
For other days out, visit Rochefort-en-Terre (40 minutes), a gorgeous little place voted as France’s favourite village in 2016, or the saltmarshes of Kervilhen (45 minutes) or walks, swims and wildlife spotting.
