Pootle to Prague within half an hour, or take a bus from a stop that lies right by the park entrance: day trips are a doddle from Camping Oase Prague just over 20 kilometres from Prague’s historic core… especially with guided day trips organised right on site. Kids will be in their element at this site too: there’s absolutely loads for them to get stuck into, from a sandpit and a 30-metre zipline and brightly coloured clambering kit in the outdoor playgrounds to air hockey, mini pool and soft play, games, train sets and other toys for rainy days at the indoor playroom… and rabbits to say hi to over at the site hutches. A programme of organised activities like arts and crafts and indoor games runs in high season too. Bike hire is available, so should you be partial to a pedal tour you can hire one along with a helmet, lights and servicing tools. Cycling maps and tips for trips around the area are on hand too, or if you just fancy a spin to the shops then you can add a front basket to load up with goodies. If you’re in need of some local knowledge just ask the multilingual and mightily helpful site team to assist with any sightseeing info you might need. The restaurant serves reasonably priced eats (and has a play area for fidgety littlies), and there’s a small shop too selling freshly baked bread in the morning and other essentials during peak season (with these available at at reception during quieter spells).

喜欢: De grote van de plek was perfect 150 m2 verder was er een leuk zwembad en een goed restaurant sanitair werd heel goed schoongemaakt en er was zelfs een vaatwasser die je twee keer per dag kon gratis kon gebruiken en de bushalte precies voor de camping was helemaal mooi om een trip naar Praag te maken. Al met al een mooie camping en zeker een camping om nog een keer terug te komen.

不喜欢: Niets eigenlijk er waren geen minpunten wat ons betreft. Oh ja misschien de prijs wij betaalden 85 per nacht maar dat was op een comfort plek van 150 m2 en je hebt maar 6 ampere wij hebben nog bijgekocht tot 12 ampere. Was mooi geweest als het voor dat geld standaard 12 ampere was geweest. En de wifi moest ook betaald worden je kreeg 2 wifi vouchers gratis en dus moesten we er twee bij kopen van 4 euro per week.

喜欢: Everything about this site is great. Clean and genrous showers and loos. Pitches generous and well laid out with hedging for boundaries ours had its own drain and water connection. Useful local and visit Prague information provided by the site. Bus from the gate available, we used the Chodov P&R site to visit the city. Plenty of stuff for kids on site if you need to take them ;)

不喜欢: Nothing to dislike about this site, it's nice, well managed and convenient to visit Prague

喜欢: lovely site especially for children even though ours don't come with us now. loads of amenities and everything really clean. swimming pool and shop nice and we had a few beers in the restaurant and meals looked nice. good site to drive to park and ride for Prague and metro really easy to use

喜欢: Excellent very clean, quiet and well organised site. Pitch size (large) very good. Restaurant very good and reasonably priced.

Closeness to Prague an obvious advantage. Good information available on trips that can be done in and around the area.

不喜欢: Could do with more shade. Extra charges for some things (E.g. more than 2 wifi logins, more that 2 tents). Pitchup doesn’t give details of these on their site.

喜欢: Cosy swimming pools , easy to travel to Praque by bus , clean toilets , camp has optimal size and lots space to play multiple games and spend time with families

不喜欢: Football pitch has some holes that can be dangerous for kids. Suggest to think about some renewal here

Plenty to do awaits over in Prague, famed for producing some of the world's finest brews (beer, not tea): this highly pretty city is scattered with sculptures by David Černý and home to several ace art galleries like Veletržní Palác, so it's spot on for an aimless wander. Prague Zoo is the place to take the kids to, or to ZOO koutek for birdwatching, woodland nature walks and wildlife spotting. Around half an hour’s drive away, whizz around the tracks at an indoor go-karting centre with a 910-metre track and sport karts, racing karts and kids’ karts, or head to the bobsledding track to speed along its kilometre-long course at speeds of up to 62 kilometres per hour.
