Tain Coed is hands-down the best campsite we’ve ever stayed at. It’s a small, family-run site with everything you need – clean drinking water, bins, and waste disposal – but what truly makes it special are the people.

From the moment we arrived, the whole family made us feel not just welcome at their campsite, but at their home. They showed us around their farm, played games with the kids, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt like part of the family.

We were blown away by their kindness. When our van went into limp mode with a DPF fault, Andy was outside with his laptop and OBD cable trying regens to help us get back on the road. You just don’t get that kind of care anywhere else!

At only £18 a night for up to 6 people and 2 dogs, it’s incredible value – easily the cheapest and friendliest site we’ve come across. Whether you’re planning to climb Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), road trip around Anglesey, or just enjoy a peaceful stay in North Wales, this is the place to be.

We honestly can’t thank the family enough for everything. From us at 2inacan, this is a huge shoutout – you made our trip unforgettable. 🏕🐶

不喜欢 Honestly? Nothing at all. This place is spot on in every way — facilities, location, atmosphere, and especially the people. We genuinely couldn’t fault it.

喜欢 An absolutely perfect site for our style of traveling. Very quiet with great view's, and lots of bird life to watch also.

The local village has a great spar shop with cheap fuel and a couple of nice pub/eateries.

Access to the site is brilliant just off the main road, but the pitches are far enough away as to be undisturbed by road noise.

The owner was very welcoming and explained all we needed to know.

Facilities are minimal but fresh water filling and toilet emptying is available. That is all we personally need so fantastic.

To get to and from the mainland is very simple with only a 10 minute drive along the A5025.

We are looking to return in the very near future.

喜欢 Great site in a fantastic location with great views. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Friendly welcome upon arrival. No issues for us as a family of 4 with 2 dogs.
