Tucked away in the Welsh countryside, Wild Mountain Hideaway offers guests a peaceful and off-grid escape just 30 minutes from the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park. Nestled in between captivating mountains and forests, this dog friendly hideaway is ideal for nature lovers. We are a Freedom Camping Site so can offer up 3 spaces for tents/small campers. No caravans as access is limited. The rustic shepherd's hut, Bertie, features a handmade double bed, bedding, a fireplace, seating, and storage. The site includes a utility hut equipped with a composting toilet, a hot shower, and a sink. Fire pits or BBQs are not permitted here. Dogs are welcome on this site!

The postcode is LL16 5NS. Satnav will likely stop at the bottom of our lane by a small bridge. Follow the road for approx 1.5 miles. Please DRIVE SLOWLY as there can be livestock, horses or farm traffic on the lane. It's single track with very few passing places. Keep driving until you see the Freedom Camping Club sign. Take the left track all the way to the end. You will stop when you get to the gate across the track. Drive through the right gate and close behind you. Carpark is on the hard standing.
