30 minute walk into Hay on Wye, Partly through fields and partly along the path beside the road.

喜欢: Lovely, quiet, clean site with very friendly wardens.
Very convenient for a visit to Hay-on-Haye and a handy busy stop right outside.
不喜欢: Not a negative but next time we would like a pitch away from the toilet/shower block.

喜欢: Lovely site and staff all really friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were really clean. Nice easy walk into the village and back. Dish washing facilities really nice, spacious and clean too. Will definitely return!
不喜欢: Showers are push button and felt like they didn’t last long between presses. Also would be nice to be able to control the temperature in the shower. Water was a little on the hot side for me.

Toilet and showers modern and spotless
Pitches very level, we loved our pitch
Incredibly friendly
Easy motorhome access
Close to town 27min walk to Hay-on-Wye centre, 35mins to the river walk
不喜欢: Although it wasnt a big issue for us, this could be for some less able folks or people with large dogs.
No footpath to Hay-on-Wye from the entrance to where the festival is held.
The road is far to dangerous to walk on as it's a main route and in parts there is no verge.
The only safe way to go to Hay-on-Wye is via footpath through private fields.
The farmer has made the styles over the sheep fields so high and no doggy under area so carring two 24kg spaniels over wasn't easy and were both fit and strong.

喜欢: Spotless site, all areas checked & cleaned throughout the day. Immaculate & attractive grounds & such nice staff who went above & beyond to help make stay enjoyable.

喜欢: Good level pitch, well maintained and tidy site, facilities are well maintained, up to date and spotless, we should have gone home yesterday but that good we are staying for an extra three nights.
