喜欢: Friendly owners and great cider, showers, and toilets were clean and well-kept. Staying amongst the orchard is lovely, kids loved it and plenty of space for them to play.
5/6min drive from Hay which was great for the festival and access to the river wye.

喜欢: Beautiful orchard campsite, surrounded by farm animals and wildlife, such as red kites, swallows and rabbits. My 9 year old loved the walk down to stream where we paddled in the water. He also loved the apple tree with the large half-fallen branch where he climbed up with his camping pillow and sat reading. Thanks to the no-cars policy, my one year old was able to toddler around in front of our pitch with relative safety. The toilet facilities were simple but clean and £1 lasted ages in the shower. For us grown ups, the beer from the tap-room was fantastic and we all appreciated being able to have fires. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole site had a happy, friendly feel. We can't wait to return.

喜欢: The manager was really friendly and the campsite itself is lovely, I particularly like that no vehicles are allowed in the orchard, which makes it great for the children to free range. Lots of wildlife. Paying for the showers meant there was never a queue, and they lasted a decent length of time.

不喜欢: We've been here before, but there has been a change of management since we last came. There are now more pitches and I think it would be quite cramped if it was fully booked. They could do with a bigger fridge too, now that it's busier, and with only 4 loos the toilet roll was often empty, so would recommend taking your own!
A map for the Nature Trail would be handy, we had to turn round and come back as we had no idea how long it carried on for!
It doesn't bother us, but it's on a farm, with farm noises and smells, so be prepared for that.

不喜欢: Very small and lovely campsite but offers too many pitches I think. It makes it feel overcrowded

喜欢: This is a campsite we have returned to. It a beautiful site and great for kids. With no cars allowed on site, kids can have the freedom to run around and play. The kids spent hours climbing the tree and on the swing. Having campfires kept us warm on rainy nights.
The site itself is beautiful and the surrounding areas are great to explore.
The owners are also super helpful and went above an beyond for us.

喜欢: Great location and very easy to get to lots of great spots around the Brecon Beacons. The setting was pretty and the toilets and showers were generally clean. The bar was fun and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

不喜欢: Pitches were maybe a little closer together than I'd have liked in an ideal world. It would have been nice to have more choice at the bar and paying for the showers is a pain (just because I never have cash). Small issues though, overall we really enjoyed our stay.

喜欢: The site was very peaceful and quiet. Good sized pitches to suit a variety of tents. Fridges provided. Toilet and shower block was modern and up to date and clean.

不喜欢: The first shower I tried was blocked. And no sign on the door to indicate as such. Shower fee of a pound seems steep but happy to pay given the price of the pitch.
Tap house is shut in the week so I could not sample the cider and pilsner that I had read about.

喜欢: Absolutely loved this campsite, what a beautiful, quaint, unique setting. To sleep in an Orchard... Wonderful! Good showers, super friendly staff, perfect option of fire pits... What's not to like! We will be back!

喜欢: nice location, peaceful and quiet good location to look at the stars. toilet and shower facilities available and moderately dirty.

不喜欢: slight road noise but not excessive. asked to buy firewood and kindling of the site but waited a few hours for this.
