喜欢: Size of site, small- although there looks to be an expansion planned.
Cleanliness of facilities
Well kept grounds
Close to local services and places of interest.
Hotel with restaurant in easy walking distance.
Hosts very helpful and welcoming
Mostly level, tarmac pitches with plenty grass around them.
Lovely wee place, would definitely recommend and use again.

不喜欢: Adjacent road can be a bit noisey at certain times but we didn't find it a problem.

喜欢: Spotless facilities, excellent shower. Conveniently situated for stop-over on long journey. Level pitches.

喜欢: A quiet place with good facilities, not too many people there

不喜欢: Shops and Restaurants in the next village, which ist a 20 minute walk at least.

喜欢: It was lovely and very clean site the staff were very friendly. There's some nice walks and there's a fuel station with a shop nextdoor everything is well posted the fresh water point waste etc... there's a facility toilets and a shower in the ladies which is very clean and a shed for washing the dishes and a gathering point I'm very impressed with the site and i will be back again in the near future

不喜欢: My only complaint and it wasn't really an issue but no WiFi available. And the shed for the dish washing is locked after 10.30pm

喜欢: Ease of access to local facilities. Good dishwash area and general facilities. Good sized reasonably level pitches. Ideal overnight stop when travelling north.

不喜欢: Day time road noise, but it was quiet at night.

喜欢: Liked the space as only 2 others there while we was there

不喜欢: Only one shower in men’s block which wasn’t a problem but could be in busy periods
Close to the road and next to garage so could hear traffic and noise, but saying that I’d def stay again same time of year

The kids will make sure Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park (five minutes’ drive) is first stop on the sightseeing schedule; here you can spot the Big 5 African animals, watch birds of prey flying displays and let youngsters loose in the adventure playground. If the weather is good, a Loch Katrine cruise on the vintage steamship ‘Sir Walter Scott’ (35 minutes) might be next on the agenda. You can also take a trip on the rotating boat lift at the Falkirk Wheel (half an hour), and be sure to stop by The Kelpies, two gigantic metal sculptures of horses’ heads that soar over the site – they look equally spectacular lit up at night. Inject a little Scottish history into your holiday mix with a guided tour of Stirling Castle (10 minutes), The Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre and the landmark Wallace Monument (both 20 minutes). However, if you’d rather be out hiking or cycling in stunning loch-and-glen country, make straight for Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park (10 minutes).
