喜欢 Staff very friendly and welcoming, site was clean, The carvery was very good, nice wee shop, good takeaway stall. Toilets clean and well maintained.

不喜欢 The smell around the outside of the toilet, shower block was a very strong smell of sewage. Other campers were noisy at night after quiet time but security did deal with the matter.

喜欢 Pitch was good excellent weather. Kids had plenty room to play football,rounders etc. it was not busy which was perfect.

不喜欢 Showers were ridiculous push buttons on Sink and shower you had to press both I found it hard to shower wee ones. Toilet block fine but no shelf to put toiletries on. Both units are just containers restaurant expected us to pay same price for a takeaway we declined. Did not want to take 7 grandchildren and 5 adults to sit in. A takeaway was an easier option for us. We took them to Jedburgh.

喜欢 The camping site is well kept & plenty of space (very large camping area)
You can pitch wherever is free & car parked next to you. In the whole, the park is clean & well looked after. Bar area with food & outside take away . A1 site.

不喜欢 Camping field showers bit small. Hard to keep shower running but good warm water/shower. Can not keep floor dry. No electric hook ups. Would be good if had second shower/toilet block @ top end of field.

喜欢 We liked the facilities and amenities. The park is in the perfect location to travel around.

喜欢 This park is great. Clean and well maintained. The toilet blocks could do with a major upgrade. Shop is well stocked with everything you need. The food in the restaurant is simply the best. Good entertainment in the Tavern tent at the weekend.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

不喜欢 No WiFi in campsite. Groups of campers creating their own tented village should not be allowed as the noise and the constant swearing is not good when kids are about and make the experience not enjoyable.

If this is the case then have a separate area down the far end of the field for those that want to pitchup together and keep all the noise at one end.

喜欢 Very clean site with a lovely shop, tavern and kiosks. (Best milkshakes!)
Kind and friendly staff.
Entertainment- was great! Saw a Cher tribute act , really good fun.
Clean facilities.
Good location.
Decent play park
Open camping, can choose your own pitch.
Very reasonable price
Security dealing with other guests who had open fires. Not sure on the details but was reassured to see this kind of thing being dealt with in what seemed like a professional manner.

不喜欢 The showers!!! What a nightmare they were. You have to constantly get out of the shower to press a button above the sink to get 10 seconds of water!!! A few mins in and the water stopped coming entirely for over 20 mins.
I’d give the site 10/10 if these could be improved.

喜欢 We were walking the St Cuthberts Way and checked in for 1 night only. Facilities were clean. It was a large field and plenty of space to space.

不喜欢 Very noisy. Didn’t seem to be a 10 or 11pm quiet time as with other camping spots. Feral kids with drunken parents. Earplugs would normally do the trick but not here!!

喜欢 View is amazing and very friendly staff

不喜欢 We went there during summer and that was a huge mistake. Pitched our tent on a nice spot and it was like 4 tents when we came so we thought we got lucky to pick a spot. But to our horror, the entire 5 days of stay felt like we were in the middle of a child's playground, it was very loud all day til night time, kids playing, baby crying, drinking and adults doing sing along. The entire stay was chaos and that is not the way I want to connect to nature and spend my holiday. I really wish they have an allocated pitch for adults only. The biggest dislike was the toilets and shower. For the toilet, it was an open top and bottom so you can clearly hear someones bowel joirney. The shower is ridiculous! You have to press the sink tap to turn the shower tap and only runs water for good 20 seconds and you have to press again and again to continue!!! Theres no temp control and it almost burned my face. The wifi does not reach the camping pitch at all.

喜欢 Tent pitches were a quiet field out back, free to choose where to pitch.

Loads of space for kids to run around, good park in the main site too.

不喜欢 Lots of wasps around
