喜欢: Beautiful place to stay the scenery is stunning and the park is lovely and clean the walks are great and it's got 2 railway stations in the village if your a hiker looking for an overnight stay and walk a stretch of the WHW

不喜欢: The facilities could do with expansion or possibly add another toilet / shower block

喜欢: A very warm welcome, attractive pod well equipped as advertised. Pleasant site, quiet at night. All set in a beautiful site with lovely walks to explore with our collie dog. Memories of time spent in Tyndrum and Crianlarich 60 years ago. We tried to visit the old Lady Glenorchy's church, now a cafe, but it was closed. Still, the walk was good with a new cycle route easy to walk, a wee bit harder coming back on the West Highland Way. Staff helpful throughout especially by providing two chairs with arms which helped us to sit outside. The weather was great and the views all around spectacular. The old village of Tyndrum is a good example of the old and the new, somehow retaining a village atmosphere bridging one of the busiest roads in Britain. We had a lovely four day break and if we live long enough, we'll come back and enjoy again.

Lovely site by a stream with views of the surrounding mountains and woodland. Walking distance to local amenities and an ideal stop over en route to the Highlands.

喜欢: Convenient location for the start of the Devil o' the Highlands footrace. Friendly welcome, lovely setting, and all necessary facilities. A great base for walking in the area. My pitch backed into the river, which was particularly nice. The pitches are well spaced out.

不喜欢: This is a very first world problem, but my only negative was that despite a warning of very hot water, the washing-up station only provided a trickle of lukewarm water. By contrast, the water flow to the washbasins in the female toilets was so fierce that it splashed out!

喜欢: Location and cleanliness and friendly staff.
Very disappointing I can’t say more because I loved the site. But the amenities let it down.

不喜欢: Toilets and showers. Sinks hot water button difficult to work. Water not hot enough. Sinks are used for handwashing after the toilet do not nice to use for face or teeth brushing. Also no privacy. Gents was equally basic. No hot water to shave and the 3 sinks were for basic handwashing. Sinks within a cubical are much nicer and lots of other sites have these. The ones at the site were basically public toilets either a couple of showers.

喜欢: Firstly the staff are fantastic, so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help whenever they can. The site is clean and well set out. Easy enough to get to. Pitches are relatively level. It is a walkers paradise.

不喜欢: Not a dislike more just a comment, there are a few shops in Tyndrum its self one of which is The Green Wellie but they are expensive.
