喜欢 Location for town and large pitches

不喜欢 Toilet/showerblock - insufficient for the number of tourers and no heating so would not want to be using them later in the year.
But I suppose that was reflected in the price. Once the grass and shrubs have grown, more water points and with a dog walk/ poo bins it will be much better, and a cover on the chemical waste.

喜欢 An amazing site, close to all amenities, clean and quiet. Lovely staff and would definatley recommend to anyone going to Loch Ness.

喜欢 My children loved the play park, great for both their ages (3 & 10)

Friendly staff at reception. Popped in by bar on way back from town after our meal and the staff were amazing. Very friendly and extra chatty to my kids which they loved. Lady even ran to kitchen to get me a strawberry for my Prosecco. It’s the little touches.

Clean and well situated toilets and showers next to pitch. Quiet and relaxing area.

喜欢 Site had friendly staff and was clean and tidy. Restraunt facilities where good and short walk into Fort Augustus for things to do.

不喜欢 No WiFi when stated there was.
Only one washing up station.
One night no toilet paper in the toilets.
No baby changing facilities.
No feminine hygiene disposal options in shared toilets.

喜欢 The staff at reception were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They assisted with a spare electric hook-up when we thought ours wasn't working. Handy location for walking in to Fort Augustus and eating at one of the many nice eateries there (only 5 minutes walk). The available facilities were clean.

不喜欢 The facilities were hugely disproportionate to the numbers of people staying on-site and this was even with the site being under full capacity during our stay. There were only 2 showers which we had to queue for as they were in big demand given the numbers on site (approximately 30 people). There were 4 toilets which was also inadequate given the numbers. There was 1 sink for dishwashing. The site itself is unattractive. It largely consists of gravel with a central grass area which is boggy and not very conducive to sitting at. There was no wifi and poor signal coverage in the area. The focus of the business appears to be on the chalets for sale / hire rather than on the campsite - hence the facilities being far below standards of other campsites we have stayed at in Scotland.

不喜欢 Lack of amenities in toilet block, poor quality surface on pitches hard to walk on, site obviously new and needs a few years to mature

喜欢 a little gem in the highlands lovely clean and quiet site great for visiting loch ness as only a short walk to the town toilets and showers very clean staff at reception were fantastic and very friendly

喜欢 Wow what a lovely site, we were so impressed with site and the cleanliness of the Shower & Toilet blocks. We really like the individual showers and toilets. We found the restaurant and bar was great it was lovely and relaxing and dogs are welcome good value for money. We will definitely stay here again.

不喜欢 Only thing is we had a dog and there was no separate poo bins scattered around. I know this is quite a new site so maybe they will think about putting dog poo bin in.
