喜欢 Great location just a short walk to the village

不喜欢 Toilet and shower facilities need improvement. There are only three toilets for the campsite. There are no hand drying facilities. There is no changing area in the showers so not easy to get undressed, dried and redressed. The pitches are a good size however it is all gravel, basically has the feel of a large car park and hard to walk on. The restaurant and bar is advertised as being open 7 days a week, however it was closed Monday and Tuesday.

不喜欢 Poor toilet block, no drive-in grey water disposal. Only gravel area without any grass area adjacent to your pitch

喜欢 Spacious plots and location close to town centre. Quiet.

不喜欢 Looks like it is unfinished as a site. Toilet/showering facilities appear temporary and inadequate if site is busier. Poorly lit. (no lighting on motorhome site at all)
Too expensive for what was on offer. I think when finished to an acceptable standard it has the potential to be a great site and currently looks like early days of a 'work in progress!'

喜欢 The pitch was a good size , the site was well placed for easy access to the town .

不喜欢 This site is still under development, and is not ready to have paying customers. The facilities are very poor, there are only three toilets and three showers plus a small bathroom that are unisex for the whole site . The showers are on a slope so all the water spills on to the fake grass so it is sodden. With so many people using the facilities they are dirty and wet. The chemical waste is a hole in the ground and we didn’t find a waste water facility. It’s a shame as it could be a great place

A lot of fencing that makes you take long walks around. A few gates would go a long way.

喜欢 The enormous, spacious campsite. It looked very fancy as we pulled in which in comparison to the place we had the misfortune of staying the previous night- let’s say we were over the moon!

Very lovely site, staff and views! The pitch was spacious. We could see you are working on your site as a whole and it seems new. Will be great when all the new trees have matured etc.

不喜欢 The fact there is no cut through to walk out of the camping area to get to the front of the site or the village. I had to walk all the way around and I’m disabled, the gravel is hard to walk on and it’s a long way round! Please make some exits in the fences to make it easier!

The loos and showers are lovely and new, however you need twice as many because the field wasn’t even half full and we still had to queue for facilities. The one washing up station is totally inadequate.

喜欢 Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean showers and toilets. Large pitches.
The location is excellent with near vicinity to the village and canal locks. It's a beautiful area of Scotland. Plenty of pubs and restaurants.

不喜欢 Whilst the toilet block was clean and quite new it was small and the facilities are mixed. The cubicles are like portaloos in a wooden shed. It is a new site and has loads of potential but needs some work.
No tv reception or WiFi. This could be a plus as we played dominos and talked to each other. I won most of the games and my husband gave up and went to bed.
We could not find a supermarket.
The advertised bar and restaurant seven days a week was shut Monday and Tuesday.
