喜欢: Starting as we arrived we were greeted by polite and friendly owners and made to feel welcome. The facilities are basic however they were very clean & well kept with a temperature adjustable shower. Our pitches offered a great amount of space lots of room to enjoy the fantastic views and for the kids to run around playing without feel like cars were in the way or the kids were disrupting others people’s space. It is unfortunate that there is so much road noise on the electric pitches but it didn’t affect our overall experience.

A chilled out get together, for two families, is what we booked for and Bush of Ewes definitely delivered the lovely owners brought some goats and a sheep (with an Easter treat) along to caravan for the kids to meet and allowed access through the enclosures to meet all the animals, walk and reach the river. They were both happy to answer question’s and discussed animal rearing with our 14yr old who’s mapping out how ducks will fit in our garden as I type ! haha

不喜欢: It’s a shame all dogs must remain on their leash however with the livestock so close I can I understand the owners need to know they are safe.
As already mentioned the traffic noise is loud, The A7 is a busy road, but this didn’t negatively impact us and I’m sure the other pitch’s deeper into field are likely not to have heard it.

来自经理: Thank you for the great review and pictures, we are hopefully in the next couple of months running electric up into the camping field so all the pitches will be away from the road, there is a small fenced off area just next to the park where dogs can be let off the lead which is a secure area. I hope the duck adventure goes well 😊 hopefully see you again in the future

喜欢: Peaceful little campsite, no fuss, clean and welcoming. Great for a short stay. The goats and lambs at the site were very cute and entertaining.

不喜欢: Only 2 toilets. Not a major issue when the campsite is quiet but I could see it being awkward when things get busier.

喜欢: Lovely sight, everything you need and friendly helpful hosts.
Would definitely return, really tired value for money.

不喜欢: There wasn't really anything to dislike, had what was needed and didn't sell itself for something it wasn't.

喜欢: Everything! The owners, the land itself, the animals, the peace and quiet.
Wow what a special stay we had here! From the moment we arrived the owners were so friendly and welcoming but went above and beyond by letting us meet all the animals, feeding the baby lambs and even gave our little boy an Easter egg.

不喜欢: Absolutely nothing.

喜欢: Loved the chilled vibe of the site and especially with all the animals. I had a lovely chat to the owner who told me the history of the site and said it was ok to go into the field and see the sheep and goats. What a fabulous experience for a townie. The surrounding countryside was also beautiful and even only one away gave a great recharge.

喜欢: The campsite had scenic views and farm animals on site which we enjoyed to watch. Families on site were able to get close with the animals on the farm and there was a park with kids. The facilities were clean and there was drinking water and bins for rubbish. The farm owners were very lovely and accommodating. The town Langholm is a short drive from the site also that has nice bars and food places!

不喜欢: The ground was very hard and had difficulty getting our pegs in the ground. We recomend taking a hammer.

喜欢: From the first moment we arrived we were greeted with such a lovely manner, we were shown exactly where everything is, had a very friendly chat & was told we were more than welcome to go and see the animals they had on the site. All of the facilities were very clean & well kept, the shower was great too, very refreshing & and adjustable heat meter so you could have a shower as hot or cold as you’d like. There were buckets & slate blocks available to use so that you could have a fire without worrying about packing all of the equipment. The pitches offered a great amount of space, enough to fit your car on the pitch too. There’s space for children to play & 2 picnic benches too as well as lighting around the campsite when it’s dark at night. It’s very peaceful & we over all had an amazing experience here & would definitely stay again!
