喜欢 The lake was lovely and the warden was fantastic could not have been more helpful

不喜欢 We booked the hotel for dinner and we asked for everything to come out together as some having starters and some not. We ordered Cajun wings which were completely burnet. 2 steak pies were not even look warm the carrots were mouldy on the chicken braemar and the sauce was cold on both braemars the drinks also came in dribs and drabs and the food did not all come together and we had to ask how long it would be. When confronting staff about the cold food we were looked at like we were lying and as I pointed out reheated food must be at a minimum of 82.6 C to kill bacteria. They microwaved the steak pie but still came back cold no apology for mouldy carrots. They did take the cost of the meals off the bill but not really helpful when you are in such a remote location. We also wanted to hire a boat the next day but were bluntly told we couldn’t as no one was there. Very remote roads not suitable for walking

喜欢 Great views across the loch on a clear dry day.

不喜欢 Need more hooks in showers for clothes etc. Ladies facilities got rather wet.

喜欢 On the Route I was taking, toilets / showers were very clean and modern and near to pitch

不喜欢 While i get that it was a stopover the pitch felt that we were in the car park, I had actually pulled up there to check in. Was the dearest we had payed all week on the NC500 route and was the least scenic. The area we were told to pitch up on was basically underwater. Gravelled with no drainage

喜欢 Position, excellent view of Loch Lomand,
Easy access to the pub, great friendly staff especially bar staff. Laundry and washing facilities great, hot showers.

不喜欢 Showers could do with a clean.

喜欢 Lovely view out over the loch. We ate in the restaurant which was pretty good food, huge portions and very cheap.

不喜欢 Toilets and showers could do with updating.
There was quite a bit of rubbish along the beach including what looked like chunks of a broken sink!
The restaurant was also very dated and tired looking. Astonished that they only had famous grouse and bells whiskeys behind the bar too! We were looking forward to a nice dram after our dinner but didn’t see any other options!

喜欢 Beautiful location with touring pitches overlooking Loch Lomond. Good toilet & shower facilities. Great to have hotel on site so could use their bar & restaurant

不喜欢 Few more hooks in shower are a must & perhaps a seat or bench to sit on while getting dressed so you don’t get your clothes wet & to put your things on whilst showering. Not great putting things on the floor as they get dirty & wet.

喜欢 Excellent pitch overlooking the water. Facilities very clean and tidy with pub/restaurant at entrance to site. Met warden and he was very chatty and informative.

It was heavy rain and windy for our stay but wasn't an issue, darts and pool in the pub definitely a plus 😁

£40 for myself and partner with EHU
