喜欢: John and Anna couldn't have given us a warmer welcome! Pitches are grass - and very generous! Slight slope on some - but fine with blocks and/or ramps. Beautiful open scenery with fantastic views. Small but very clean shower block and toilet area, with lovely touches such as hairdryer and dressing table in the ladies! A handy campers kitchen - with microwave, kettle, washing machine and tumble drier - as well as the usual point for washing dishes. There is a Pavilion with pool table, table tennis and a borrowing library, also with TV and seating area - ideal for campers. Great place for dogs with an enclosed "toilet" area and access to larger walk round nearby fields. Perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet, but also great space for children to play. Highly recommended - we'll definitely book again for a longer stay.

喜欢: Such a lovely spot in the countryside, fantastic views. Owners were very welcoming. Has a camper’s kitchen and also a large lounge area to sit in the evening. If I’m in the area again I will definitely be back!

不喜欢: Just needed a little fan heater in the family room so you don’t freeze getting changed before and after shower.

It is a bit cold at this time of year, so you'll be pleased to know that we are planning to add heating to the full toilet block facility before next Winter, using a ground source heating system, which we'll run on all cooler evenings too if it proves to be efficient, and cost-effective! :)

喜欢: Booking on pitch up was so easy.
The welcome from the owners and their hospitality was amazing.
The owners have a great deal of consideration for campers providing a pavilion with games and a TV. They have facilities like a dryer as well which is free to use.The fully enclosed dog walking area was amazing and our dogs really enjoyed their runs. We went during the winter for one night but we will definitely be going to stay this summer as well.

喜欢: The location is beautiful. The site is very clean and well looked after, the facilities are great. We have stayed before and will definitely be back. Great if you have a dog they can run in a secure field. The owners are very helpful.
