Are you already exploring or soon to arrive in Waterford? Take a look at Crotty’s Lake Camping – a handsome spot indeed, and one that will surely act as an excellent base for exploring Copper Coast beaches, cycling through the countryside and hiking green slopes overlooking lakes. Secure and private, Crotty’s Lake Camping has direct access to Crotty’s Lake, a spectacular lake surrounded by tall hills. The owner is on hand to meet guests and answer any questions you may have, or give advice on local things to do. And the surrounding area certainly has an impressive line-up of attractions. Within 15 minutes’ drive of the site is the Waterford Greenway, a 46-kilometre cycling trail on a former railway line, passing over three viaducts and the river Suir before ending at the Copper Coast. The end point for the Waterford Greenway is the harbour town of Dungarvan, otherwise 25 minutes’ drive away from the site. Several Copper Coast beaches are also within half an hour’s drive of the site. Facilities on site are well maintained – the communal area includes a toilet, cooking facilities and a TV. The nearest shop is 10 minutes’ drive away if you need to source ingredients for your meals.

喜欢: Great location , pitched our roof tent near the top of the mountain (recommended by the owner Bernard , thanks again) great views and very relaxing with a small stream running just beside our pitch.. Had my 4 year old son with me and he couldn’t get enough of the place , loads to be doing.. We will definitely be back again and would definitely recommend this simi wildcamp site..

喜欢: We had an amazing weekend at Crottys campsite.. it was beautiful with amazing views and a little stream beside us. It had some Yellowstone vibes we will definitely be back soon. Everything you needed was there and facilities were very clean. Owner was very friendly and made sure we got the perfect spot and the fire pit was a bonus.

喜欢: Crottys campsite was amazing, wild and wonderful. The setting in the forest was gorgeous and very tastefully done. Crottys Lake was an added bonus and is so beautiful. Bernard the host was so helpful and very friendly. I will definitely be back to Crottys ❤️

喜欢: Amazing place I was so happy be there. Quite and can be with nature so close. For kids safe place👍 nice walking trails especially to lake. Stuff so kind. Facilities are what needs for camping ❤️ tent places with own areas for fireplaces.

不喜欢: €15 per person for a tent is quite expensive for a pitch with no electricity.
€20 capped charger for a motorhome.
