There are quite a few things to adore about Adare Camping and Caravan Park. First up, its Limerick location, well set to use as a base while you investigate the many interesting attractions all around, or to stop at for a day or two on a mammoth Irish sightseeing trip. Next up, the fact that it's in the centre of a small farm, which means there are animals on site that the Adare owners say always like a bit of attention – always a plus… And third, the fact that there's a hot tub – always a (warm and wrinkly) plus too… A cordial welcome and relaxing atmosphere are also guaranteed at this family-run park, as are snapworthy scenes at nearby Adare, claimed to be one of the prettiest villages in Ireland: stroll along with your camera to see for yourself. Adare Camping and Caravan Park has toilets and showers on site; a small charge applies for the use of the showers.

喜欢 We had a wonderful stay at Adare Camping and Caravan. The booking process through Pitchup was very straightforward, with clear information about the campsite, rules, and details provided in advance. On arrival, we received a warm welcome and an excellent introduction, which immediately made us feel at ease.

The facilities are well maintained — the toilets and bathrooms are spotless clean. The hot showers require a 50 cent, but it’s well worth it for the comfort and cleanliness. The site itself is peaceful, with a lovely quiet environment that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Overall, it’s a well-organized, friendly, and very clean campsite — a place we’d be happy to return to and recommend to others.

喜欢 Basic and friendly. That been said good location and work been done to improve such as toilets.

不喜欢 No electric for tents, would love to see.

喜欢 The pitches for larger tents were a fantastic size and room for cars also. Plenty of space to play games in each pitch.
The site is beautifully kept and ample showers and toilet facilities. Wash up area and communal kitchen kept very clean and tidy also.

不喜欢 Nothing at all, great camping site.

喜欢 Very nice little park, good clean amenities, and nice camp kitchen with everything you need to cook in. No dogs, which was nice, although I did see a couple, but think they were the neighbours dogs. Also a laundry. The family were very nice and helpful.

喜欢 Grounds, toilet and campers kitchen were incredibly well maintained and looked after. Showers were very clean and provided lovely hot water.
The area itself is very nice, it’s just a short drive to Adare which has a few pubs and restaurants with lovely food and a good atmosphere. Only a 25 minute drive to get to the centre of limerick.
Pitch was flat and had space to park car along side our tent.

Eminently attractive Adare is one of Ireland's designated Heritage Towns and has plenty of shops and restaurants to sustain visitors on a snapshotting wander. There are two golf courses, a pitch and putt and the remains of three abbeys to wander around too; a playground is on the village outskirts. Slightly further afield, take to the water at Killalow, a lakeside town with cabin cruisers and other boats; tackle go-karting at Kilcornar; flit to the flying boat museum at Foynes, or explore the walks and bike rides of Curraghchase Forest Park between Adare and Askeaton (Arthurian fans: Tennyson claimed to have seen the Lady of the Lake here). The Grange stone circle, the biggest in Ireland, is near Lough Gur, between the Limerick towns of Herbertstown and Bruff. Or take a day in Limerick City, former home of Frank McCourt of Angela's Ashes fame, River Shannon boat tours, King John's Castle, Limerick City Museum and quite a large amount of nightlife: bop along to Dolan's Warehouse for some of the city's best live music gigs.
