Sandyholme Holiday Park

喜欢 Loved the view from the safari tent, so much space.
Not far from the toilet block, and the tent had everything you needed, from utensils, water bowser to pots and pans.

It was comfortable and clean and the check in was simple and easy in advance.

Sandyholme is in a good location, not far from super markets, attractions, beaches etc.
the toilets/ showers we spacious and there was plenty for the size of the site. The shower pressure depended on use but on a whole they were great.

不喜欢 We visited on a hot bank holiday and so it was busy- the noise level of music and social chatter/kids running around was quite loud till quite late (if you have small children)
But it calmed down around 11:30-12 each night.

喜欢 Lovely site with good clean facilities. A perfect base for exploring the nearby Lulworth cove, Weymouth and Portland. Able to choose own pitch and site was friendly, yet quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend. 👌

喜欢 We stayed in the meadow field. It had loads of space for pitches. Small shower block and toilets at the entrance of the field were good as we had small children with us. The main facility block was great, family shower, came in handy.

不喜欢 The small showers in the meadow field were tint and cold! We chose not to use those ones and walked a bit further to the main block.

The shop wasn’t open for very long each day and seemed to have odd opening times.

It’s situated next to a working dairy farm so you can hear the machinery at random points throughout the night.

喜欢 A very nice, well spaced out site. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. My wife and I had a peaceful stay in a family atmosphere.
Loved the camping meadow.

喜欢 Spacious pitches, good location for lots of Dorset coast activities, good size site, excellent facilities (toilets, showers, washing up, freezer for freezer blocks), friendly staff, useful little shop. It was also lovely to see lots of families using it, and the kids all seemed to be having a great time.

不喜欢 The muck spreading on the neighbouring farms on Wednesday morning! Obviously not the fault of the campsite, but one to be aware of, it was a rude awakening!

Friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful setting with excellent access to sightseeing hotspots.
Great for children.
Excellent shower and toilet facilities.
