Ringstead Bay Camping

喜欢 Amazing views, 5 min walk to the beach. 30 minute walk to lovely pub along the coastal path and then the other way it’s a 10 minute walk to a beach cafe. Toilets and showers are basic but kept really clean.
We couldn’t fault it, had such a lovely stay in this beautiful and peaceful spot and would definitely return again next year.

喜欢 The view!!!! It’s a stunning site, set amongst the trees and with an amazing view of the sea. Next to a forest and right along the coastal footpath which has some breathtaking views.
Check in was easy and the staff made sure to keep checking that everything was good.
It had a lovely, family feel without loud music and disruption.
No WiFi which was actually fab!

不喜欢 The pitch was a bit sloped - we couldn’t really set up a table to cook outside because everything kept sliding off. The owners did say that they’re planning on rolling it to be ready for next season though.
I’d suggest more washing up facilities. These seemed to be busy and each time we had to queue for a while.

喜欢 This is a lovely campsite run by Emma, the site manager, who was always on hand to help with any issues and have a chat - she really does care about providing a good experience to the campers. Having stayed at a nearby campsite which has many facilities such as food outlets and play areas etc, this was so much nicer. It’s basic - but clean and not over packed. We had a huge space with our tent and the car and there was plenty of space in between tents.
The toilets were being cleaned (by Emma) constantly and there was always hot water. We did use the Armoury fridge but not much as the kids wouldn’t walk the 5 minutes up to it! The plugs there are a nice touch though.
The real benefit is the beach which is 5 minute walk. Not busy, nice cafe (although I thought slightly overpriced) and great at low tide. If you have a paddle board take one.
Everyone we met was friendly, mostly families, respectful and quiet. We will definitely return!

喜欢 Absolutely loved the new site . We are fairly local leaving just 45 mins away and love ringstead beach . I'm the past we have always stayed at rosewall camping just along the road for a quick fix camping trip which we love as a site but have always driven to use beach at ringstead . This new camping site although simple its location ticks all the boxes . Even though it has mobile loo and shower blocks both spotlessly clean and always hot water for washing up and literally a 100 yards back from the beach is perfect . We loved it . Sadly we had to leave a day early as my daughter wasn't well but hoping to return next week for a couple of nights .

喜欢 Fantastic stay!. The location is amazing overlooking Ringsread Bay. A 5 min walk through the woods and you are right on the beach. Fast phone charging boxes and lots of fridge and freezer space.
The staff are all so friendly and helpful and work really hard all day and eve to keep everywhere spotless.
The washing up station, toilets and showers are great. There are plenty of showers and we never had to wait. The staff keep them really clean and having plentiful hot water after a day on the beach was very welcome.
Plenty of room for everyone and great sea views. We would definitly recommend the site and will be returning.

不喜欢 Would have preferred being able to hire a firepit rather than take our own, but it wasn't a deal breaker
