喜欢: Walks from the site on the public footpaths are nice, across fields with sheep and cows!
Facilities were clean, well maintained and the showers had seats, which is very helpful
Local farmer comes on a Saturday at 5pm with local meats
worth grabbing some supplies before you arrive as it’s a good 3 miles from the nearest shop, not at bad thing in the slightest just something to consider
On site spa is reasonably priced and my wife and I both had a massage during the day, great addition

喜欢: We liked because it quite and the views are to die for. Very clean site a tractor ride for the kids at night .
不喜欢: The walk to toliet blocks and the camper next to us with tv and being loud after quite time and finally settled down around midnight and then awaking us up 6 hours later

Flexibility and friendliness of the campsite management team
New facilities (toilet block and showers)
不喜欢: Would be fantastic if there was a small farm shop to buy local produce.
If the campsite gets any bigger, then more facilities would be needed

喜欢: A lovely peaceful site with great views over a morning coffee. Mike and Ryan are fantastic hosts!
The site has secure entry and on arrival your escorted to your pitch and provided with all of the information you need for your stay.
Individually marked pitches with electric, water and plenty of space to set up table and chairs.
Super clean amenities
A pop up bar (weekends only)
The local butcher selling his locally sourced meats ready for bbq
Mike's tractor rides through his fields are fab and a really nice touch
Fire pits and wood can be purchased and dropped by your pitch

喜欢: As previously stated by other guests, this site is a hidden gem. We called on arrival and wasn't kept waiting, the young man was very friendly and helpful. The pitches were large and your allowed campfires which is an added bonus. The toilet and shower facilities are immaculate. There is also a barn with table football and a pool table. There was nothing not to like.

喜欢: Loved the site, beautiful scenery and size of the pitches, great facilities and really clean.
Lovely lakes next to tent and really peaceful place to stay, extremely reasonable price and stunning at night as the site is not lit so can see all the stars.
