Bodmin Moor - Roughtor & Brown Willy, the two highest peaks in Cornwall, offer fabulous views reaching to both coasts. Accessible on foot from the campsite. St Breward - highest village in Cornwall with excellent pub. One hour’s moorland walk from the campsite. (10 min drive) The famous Camel Trail - flat cycle path along the River Camel from Wenford to Padstow. Cycle hire available at various locations en route. (10 min drive to Wenford) Trebarwith Strand - mile long stretch of golden sand at low water with an excellent pub overlooking the bay. (15 min drive) Boscastle - sheltered, natural inlet with unspoilt harbour village. (20 min drive) Tintagel - legendary seat of King Arthur’s Castle. (20 min drive) Polzeath - surfing hotspot for novice/intermediate surfers and bodyboarders. Surf school available. (25 min drive) Daymer Bay - sheltered and gently sloping sandy beach making it safe for families. Cafe on site. (30 min drive) Port Isaac - a quintessential Cornish fishing village made famous by BBC TV series Doc Martin and the sea shanty group, Fisherman's Friends.(20 min drive) Camelford - local supermarket, garage, pubs, cafes and takeaways.
