喜欢: Great location next to the river and loads of open space. Great pub close by and fantastic for paddle boarding. The facilities are basic, but great get away from it camping.
不喜欢: The launch into the river is very precarious and not for the faint hearted!

喜欢: Easy to find, proximity to river bank and easy access to village.
Clean loos, nearby drinking water, lots of space and wildlife.
Very friendly owners, value for money wood available to buy.
Security of locked gates.
不喜欢: No showers but take a camp bag shower or a strip wash. Ironically the only thing that was a real pain was the locked external gate, as right on a bend next to a busy bridge. This means you need to block the road as you try to unlock the padlock and chain.
Would benefit from being able to pull in safely while dealing with the gate.

喜欢: Lovely being right by the river. Great for people who like getting out on the water.

喜欢: Lovely campsite, with very kind and helpful staff! Had a really nice night parked alongside the riverbed, with a gorgeous view of the river. Great pub just 5 minutes walk down the road, with a very picturesque village just a short walk away! We will be returning again for a weekend getaway, and this time will bring the canoe, as the site has their own launch area to use!
不喜欢: Not a dislike, but would have loved an earlier check-in so we could have stayed even longer at the site on arrival, but know this isn't always possible as the site isn't constantly manned.

喜欢: We had a wonderful time in a nearly empty site with gorgeous surroundings right by the river, with 2 lovely sheep!
There's a lovely little wooded bit in the middle with a children's play area and we stayed in there as there weren't any other campers expected and no children on site.
Clare was very helpful and friendly.
The location is splendid for walks along the river, a lazy day, dog walking, paddle boarding or a pub lunch.
Very secure and comfortable.
Clean toilet block with plenty of loo roll and plenty of cubicles.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be going again!

喜欢: Loved the location with the river running behind it. Nice walking tracks in the area including a great round trip that brings you to a local pub for roast and board games.
不喜欢: A little bit difficult to organise keys to unlock the gate after hours as we were quite late in the season. Toilets had some trouble flushing.

喜欢: The grounds were lovely, water flowing and lots of space. The staff were friendly.
Good location, walked to a pub and there is a cafe in walking distance too
Will stay again once showers are in place.
不喜欢: Not a dislike as such, but would only return if there were showers, hopefully being there next year, it’s on the list. I know camping you can go a day without showers, but wanted to go out in the kayak, but couldn’t as would have needed to shower after.
