Come and pitch up at Brook Farm Glamping and Camping for days full of strolling, den building and bike riding in Blean Woods, a 2,000-acre national nature reserve that backs directly onto the farm. This small-scale site is an eco-friendly place, with innovative solutions like solar-powered lighting and a composting toilet, plus upcycled washing machines that have been given a second life as barbecues and firepits. There are also cute animals here that the kids can meet, including rabbits, sheep, goats and miniature chickens. There's a good range of facilities on offer here, with well-maintained showers, toilets and a washing-up area. A selection of local produce is also available on site, or for a wider variety of food and drinks you could head to the nearest pub in Honey Hill (five minutes' drive) or to the village stores in Blean (five minutes). Holidays here will probably involve frequent trips to the beach, as Brook Farm Glamping and Camping is 15 minutes from Whitstable and half an hour from Margate by road. There are also inland attractions to explore, including the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (10 minutes) and the historic cathedral city of Canterbury (15 minutes). It was all well taken care of.

喜欢 Our first campsite of our trip and we loved everything. The site itself, the little outdoor cafe, the fresh pizza, the friendliness of James and all the others. The good conversations - greetings to D., M. and A. :)
We felt very welcome and can definitely recommend the place!

The site has everything you need - toilets, showers, dishwashing station, Elsan point - they even have a small Wellness area!

喜欢 Loved the large pitching area. All the facilities were clean and much more to offer on site. Fire pits pizzas cafe woodland walk (ideal for the dogs ) warm friendly welcome. Even though the heavens opened. Will definitely be returning next year or sooner xx

喜欢 The availability of pitches at very short notice. Price within our tight budget. The size and layout of the site. Location and proximity to incredibly wide variety of excursions inland and seashore experiences. The woods. The farm animals/petting zoo (including the escapee pygmy goats and chickens!). The availability and location of facilities - showers, toilets, washing up (- included washing up liquid!), sinks, cafe, & pizza nights! Staff welcoming and readily available if needed. And very much to the other great campers - good neighbours, plenty of friends for our children to play with. All round great place to stay! Looking forward to heading out again.
More dragonflies over our part of the campsite than any of us had ever seen at one time. Extraordinary! Simple, straight forward, no fuss. Wonderful for all of us.

Next, explore the more carefully managed landscapes on show at Belmont House and Gardens (20 minutes' drive), or prep a picnic for lunch on the beach at Whitstable (15 minutes). A little bit further up the coast, Margate (30 minutes) has art galleries, independent shops and fab contemporary restaurants to explore, while Broadstairs (35 minutes), one of Charles Dickens' favourite haunts, has old-world appeal with its cliffs, Victorian buildings and three separate bays. Away from the coast, Leeds Castle (25 minutes) has an impressive moat, fortress and well-maintained grounds to visit, while Dover Castle (30 minutes) has centuries of maritime history plus tunnels in the cliff face to explore. For more things to see and do, you'll be sorted in Canterbury (15 minutes), a UNESCO World Heritage Site city where top tourist sites include Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine’s Abbey and the Canterbury Tales attraction, an interactive exhibit that brings Chaucer's stories to life.
