Rossendale Holiday Glamping

喜欢 Second time staying here in our campervan and still one of our favourites. Check-in time was a little confusing (Pitch Up said 11am, site said 3pm) but the team kindly let us on from 11am. Facilities are excellent, the site is beautiful with scenic walks around the lake and woods, and it was wonderfully peaceful – exactly what we wanted.

喜欢 The garden/ meadow

不喜欢 Firepitch next to us (motorhome-Why allowing this?), showers very warm (could not change temperature, wifi not possible (pitches too far away).

We do not allow fire pits on the pitches so I am confused about this really.
WiFi is only available at the cottages and cafe!

喜欢 Site absolutely beautiful, very clean showers and toilets. Wish we stayed for more than 1 night

喜欢 Lovely site in countryside location.
Well spaced out and thoughtful.
Several areas to walk, sit or play including large pond, football area away from pitches, nature walk etc.

喜欢 The site is an absolute oasis of calmness and serenity. We were given a really great pitch with beautiful, elevated views of the hills, by extremely friendly staff and we managed to get set up pretty quickly to enjoy the evening sunshine with a glass of wine. On the second day we discovered that we could get a local bus to Rawtenstall with just a short walk to the main road, which we did. We had a lovely afternoon in Rawtenstall, again in lovely sunshine, returning in the early evening with some food to cook for our dinner. New neighbours arrived that evening and we enjoyed chatting and getting to know them. We were daunted by the prospect of rain for the next day, which was our checkout day, however when this came about, we were thankful that only very light showers occured and we were able to pack our car and roof tent away with everything pretty dry.

不喜欢 There is nothing to dislike about this site apart from not getting one of pitches 1-4 allocated.
