喜欢: The whole process was very easy and the hosts were very accommodating of us arriving a bit late. Campsite was well laid out and had everything needed to provide a base for exploring the lakes!

喜欢: Beautiful views. Very clean toilets, showers and washing up area. Plenty of room for children to play. Nice size pitches.
不喜欢: Not many of the pitches were level. We got there early and managed to find a suitable one as we didn’t have levelling blocks.

喜欢: Great views, stayed on a grass pitch which was good and level, generous size pitches.
Decent toilets and showers and washing-up facilities.
不喜欢: Would have liked recycling bins.

喜欢: Fantastic views, lovely owners, quiet, clean & pick your own pitch.
不喜欢: Nothing to dislike really.... showers could do with an upgrade, but hot & functional.

喜欢: The facilities were excellent, very hot showers, great washing facilities both pots and hand wash, very clean and well stocked toilets. Pitches are well spaced and mostly flat. The views are fantastic the owners are very helpful only a text or call away

喜欢: We stayed one night out of season and loved how quiet and simple it is. Also a really good location from the M6 and to The Lakes. Non fussy, basic amenities (as described so expected) and beautiful views. It was so peaceful as there were only 2 other pitches booked! We were contacted by the campsite soon after booking with instructions and had a choice of pitches. We chose one that was hard gravel and fairly flat.
不喜欢: Only cold water for washing up, but I do understand it’s advertised as wild camping and we coped just fine! Some of the pitches were uneven, luckily we had a choice of pitches as it was so quiet but the first pitch we chose was slightly slanted. However I’m not really sure if it would have made a difference sleeping at night?
