Black Beck Holiday Park

喜欢: Quiet site but we were there after a bank holiday weekend.
Facilities were good although a little far to the shower and toilet block from the motor home sites. A new block is being built right next door so this will be good.
Lovely duck pond and play park for the kids.

喜欢: Brilliant location for visiting attractions around South Lakes. Pitch large enough for our twin wheeler and awning on gravel but limited grass area. Very very quiet and peaceful at night. Shower block spotless and modern, water hot, hairdryers provided. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Shop on site stocks essentials. Supermarkets 10 min drive to Ulverston. Pub 15 min walk down quiet country lane. Food vans visit once a week. You may walk your dogs in woods to rear of site through gate near static 5 Park View (up steep hill). Although this is a holiday park it does not feel like one. Would definitely recommend.

不喜欢: Nothing to dislike. Only wish would be for larger grass area around pitch but as mostly out in daytime this was not a great problem.

喜欢: Warm welcome Great communication before and during the stay. Beautifully kept site with a glorious variety of bird life. Beautiful rural setting with great views, huge level pitches and a great little shop. Good shower block a pleasant stroll away ( in glorious weather) and building one closer to the tourer site.

不喜欢: Wifi wobbly but what do you expect up there?

喜欢: Idyllic setting, the local bird life, the thoughtful way that the park has been landscaped and ornamented. Very clean site, pitches are reasonably private and perfectly flat so no faffing with ramps. Will be even better once the new facilities block is completed as the existing is a bit small and far from the pitches. If you like ducks you'll enjoy their company!

喜欢: Lovely staff. Good digital Tv with hired Arial lead. Lovely site, lots of birds . Love the pond and friendly ducks. Good Wi-Fi. Lots of places to visit in the area.

不喜欢: Showers - nice and clean, hot water but not much room to get changed. Water runs into dressing area. Needs shelf or something in shower to put shampoo on rather than floor.
Wakened at 06:00 by ? Generated noise for 2 hours.

喜欢: Well laid out site in a good location.good playground and duck pond.

不喜欢: Toilet block was a distance from pitch. Pitches were close together. The bin area was over spilling and smelly, and dog waste bin hadn’t been emptied during our stay and was also full. It was difficult to use water on pitch as tap was pointing into the hedge.

喜欢: Beautiful scenery, modern clean warm shower block. Friendly reception and pitch was flat and close to amenities. WiFi seemed reliable.
Great walks and a walkable pub.
Lovely duck pond and visiting ducks.

不喜欢: The view from the touring pitches is limited, they are enclosed in a little enclave- it would have been nice to have a bit of the lovely scenery to see.

喜欢: Lovely well maintained campsite, very clean and tidy. Good toilet and shower facilities. Staff on reception very helpful and welcoming.

不喜欢: Couldn't get a signal for the TV which is only a very minor gripe although people with children will understand a TV is good for keeping them quiet for a bit :)
