喜欢: Great place showers were brilliant nice and hot and plenty of room we never used the bar so l can't say anything about it

喜欢: Lovely area, good, clean facilities. The pitch was a good size, level and water and electric easily accessible. There were lots of lovely walks from the site. The staff were very helpful and informative.

喜欢: Very well organized site, with friendly staff and lovely clean washroom facilities, with nice hot showers and well thought out. Everything was cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Easy off road access to Pooley Bridge from the site and walks in both direction around the lake from the site. The pitches were nice and level and well maintained, I requested a pitch on the sunny side of the site and was given a pitch on that side, a small detail but nice. The site wasn't full and the team appeared to be spacing out guests which is another positive attention to detail, would stay again without hesitation.

不喜欢: Minor, but for a 3 night stay we seemed to be bombarded with emails about online check in etc., more in keeping with an airline or tour operator than a campsite. But, as they have a lot of fixed accommodation it's more understandable.
Maybe better management of the waste area, both recycling and general which were full even on the Thursday after the Easter Bank Holiday, possibly their collection is a Friday which would explain.

喜欢: What a lovely campsite.
Friendly helpful staff.
Lovely walks right from the campsite.
Nice size pitches.
Nice facilities
Our children enjoyed watching the lambs in the fields as well.
Would definitely head back if in the area again.

不喜欢: The walks from site aren’t really pushchair friendly.
The only tiny tiny tiny thing is the sign for the campsite can block your view as leaving the site back onto the main road but just have to be careful.

喜欢: Location and proximity to lake and restaurants etc. field surrounded by large trees and scenery is amazing, mountains etc. toilets/showers clean. Really enjoyed the low flying jets. Managed to book on a lid week offer. We'll be back.

不喜欢: No privacy on pitches, no hedges etc. nar on-site and advertised as open. It wasn't. We stayed Monday/Friday, the bar is shut wed and thurs, not happy by that. Female toilet/showers entrance was behind the block so my wife felt a little uneasy using it after dark.
