Cleanest portaloos I’ve ever seen as well.

Fantastic location and extremely peaceful.

不喜欢 Limited showers in the morning, bit of a queue but that’s extremely minor.

喜欢 Great location. We arrived with our tent box and found a spot quite easily. Friendly staff who came over for a chat. Basic facilities but it had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely to hear the sheep thought out the day, super peaceful!

不喜欢 The ground is quite uneven in some spots.

喜欢 The site is in a beautiful location. There was everything we needed. The toilets clean, showers hot. The owners were great, being there to welcome us and have a chat giving local advice and nothing was a bother for them. We were in an ideal place to base ourselves to explore the area visiting Ambleside, Windermere, sizergh and Levens Hall all just a few miles away. We will definitely be returning.

喜欢 The area was spacious and clean, easy to find but tucked away so there was no passing traffic, well hidden in the fields
There was a beautiful wash area set up, showers with excellent pressure and temperature! There was even soap which was lucky as we didn’t have any, we didn’t think we’d find a shower while travelling!
Loos were clean and stocked!
Sink area with drinking water and for washing up! I didn’t want to leave!

We were even met upon arrival by the owners who just checked in making sure we were comfortable and knew where things were (normally I’m anxious around strangers but they were so friendly it was very pleasant)

I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area over anywhere else!
We even had signal!
