不喜欢 Cow barn next to site, disgusting poo smell at washing point and toilet block because of it; possibly same unacceptable smell on the camp site at certain wind directions

Before booking it does state that our campsite is on a working farm, so farm smells are to be expected, if you're not used to being around farms then it will smell a little different.

喜欢 Great customer service, flexible with what was needed, which was very appreciated :)
Site was clean and all was working as it should. We had almost whole area for ourselves (guessing we came a tad out of season).
Very happy that we chose this place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone hwo is looking for great place to camp :) Thank you, Rachel! x

喜欢 Brilliant facilities, location and staff. This is my third visit now. I even arrived 5 minutes after 10pm where the barrier locks down but someone still came and assisted me and allowed us access. Amazing strong WIFI connection and shop facilities. Seascale just down the road for amenities, pizza, chippy etc

喜欢 We loved the animals and the firepits on every pitch. We liked the proximity to scafell pike and wastwater. The site was well looked after and lovely and quiet in the evenings.

The toilet and shower cubicals were very modern.

不喜欢 I didn't see anyone cleaning the bathrooms or washing up area at all during our 5 night stay.

I personally clean the showers, toilets and washing up sinks every day, and check them several times a day, topping up toilet roll

I can assure you they are cleaned everyday

喜欢 The settings, facilities and most importantly, the manager/owner's daughter Rachel's willingness to be of assistance. Overall, it is a very pleasant setting for families and dog owners.

The toilet roll is refilled every morning, and during the day as and when needed, some mornings i cant access the toilets to refill the toilet roll as they are in use, so they are refilled when i am able to access them
